Lochside Cottages & Chalets, Lochearnhead, Perthshire


Lochside Cottages & Chalets are nestled in the heart of Rob Roy country in Lochearnhead, at the foot of Glen Ogle in Perthshire. Set at the western end of Loch Earn, the accommodation enjoys stunning views of Edinample Castle, Glen Ample and Ben Vorlich. Lochearnhead is home to a popular watersports centre and is well known for its excellent fishing opportunities, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

The Barn

The Barn is a traditional stone cottage sleeping up to six guests in one double bedroom and two twin rooms. The open-plan living areas offer wonderful mountain views, creating a bright and welcoming space to relax. The cottage is well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and TV. Outside, there is a patio area with seating, perfect for enjoying the surrounding scenery.

The Smiddy

The Smiddy also accommodates up to six guests in a double bedroom and twin gallery rooms. The characterful stone living and dining area features a wood-burning stove and TV, alongside a fully fitted farmhouse-style kitchen. Outside, guests will find a wooden table and chairs, ideal for outdoor dining.

Lochside Chalets

There are three different types of chalet available, offering a choice to suit varying party sizes and requirements. Each chalet includes a fully fitted kitchen, TV, washing machine and parking. Dishwashers are provided in all properties. Cots and highchairs are available for a small additional fee.

Visiting Lochearnhead & Exploring Perthshire

Lochearnhead lies at the western end of Loch Earn and is popular for its wide range of outdoor activities. The village is home to the remains of an ancient loch dwelling known as a crannog.

Lochside is situated within the Trossachs, a picturesque woodland glen offering numerous outdoor pursuits and attractions. The market towns of Crieff and Callander are just 30 minutes away, while Stirling Castle and the spectacular Falls of Dochart are among the many nearby places of interest.
