Accommodation
The cosy and tastefully furnished house sleeps up to 8 guests, perfect for families or groups.
On the ground floor, there is a welcoming living room complete with a log burner, Freesat TV and DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes a range of appliances such as a dishwasher, along with a kitchen table for informal dining. Guests can also enjoy meals in the separate dining room or in the kitchen diner, which offers lovely views of the garden.
Upstairs on the first floor, there are two large main bedrooms which can be arranged as either super king-size beds or twin singles. A third bedroom contains bunk beds, and there is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The top floor features two attic rooms, each with a single bed. One room includes a screen and bean bags for gaming, while the other offers a table football table.
Outside, there is a covered patio area with a table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining in warmer weather. A secure outbuilding is also available for storing bikes or other valuable equipment.
Visiting the Area
The property is within walking distance of a village shop and café. Ravenglass is just a few miles away, while the Lake District offers an abundance of breathtaking scenery, including mountains, lakes and rolling countryside. Guests can also take on the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike, England’s highest peak.
Local attractions include Muncaster Castle, Lowther Castle & Gardens, Castlerigg Stone Circle, The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and National Trust Sizergh.
