Originally built on Scottish soil, Brackenhill Tower is now the only surviving Scottish peel tower standing on English soil, making it a truly unique place to stay. The Jacobean Cottage – Sleeps 6

The Jacobean Cottage is a charming self-catering holiday cottage sleeping between four and six guests, ideal for a relaxing countryside escape on the Bracken Hill Estate.

Outside, guests can unwind in their own private hot tub jacuzzi while enjoying access to 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens, woodland and river walks. A gas BBQ is also provided for outdoor dining.

Inside, the cottage blends historic character with modern comfort. The ground floor features a spacious lounge with a traditional inglenook fireplace, along with a selection of books, games and tourist information, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area includes a fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher and microwave, with dining seating for up to six guests. A convenient downstairs W/C is also available.

Please note that there are low exposed wooden beams throughout the downstairs area, with a height of approximately six feet.

The Tower House – Sleeps 10

Please note that access to the Tower rooms is via a traditional spiral staircase.
