The cottage sleeps up to eight people and is stylishly and beautifully furnished, offering a wide range of facilities to suit guests’ needs.
The main sitting room is spacious and light, featuring large French doors and floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto the patio, creating a wonderful space to enjoy views of the river. The room includes three large sofas, a log fire and a large-screen Smart TV. Adjacent to this is the dining room and kitchen. The well-equipped kitchen boasts high-end appliances, including a five-ring electric hob, two electric ovens, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, built-in microwave and an internet radio with Spotify. The dining area seats eight people and also features a log fire and sofa, providing a cosy and sociable space.
All bedrooms offer a luxurious experience, furnished with Sealy Posturepedic beds and mattresses. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and French doors opening onto a spacious balcony overlooking the garden and river. This room also benefits from en suite facilities. There are two additional king en suite bedrooms and one super king room. One of the en suite bathrooms features an elegant French cast iron roll-top bath. On the third floor, a games room provides entertainment with a Wii games console, a selection of games, a sofa and a TV.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a decking area, garden furniture and a built-in charcoal BBQ. Part of the garden runs down to the River Crake, which flows out of Coniston Water. The cottage also benefits from private fishing rights directly in front of the property.
Visiting Coniston Water & Exploring Cumbria
Coniston Water is approximately five miles long and half a mile wide, with the lake situated around half a mile from the village. Visitors can hire boats and bikes from the Coniston Boating Centre. There are many attractions in the local area, including the Laurel and Hardy Museum, The Cumbrian Way, Conishead Priory, The Hoad Monument and Ford Park.
Rates range from £1,200 to £2,600 per week, depending on the season. Short breaks are available. The cottage accommodates a maximum of eight people. Children and pets are welcome. Wi-Fi/internet access is provided, and there is an electric car charging point on site.
