Drabblegate River Cottage is a traditional red-brick property that has been tastefully renovated while retaining its original character and charm.
On the ground floor, the comfortably furnished lounge features two leather sofas, an Afghan rug, a flat-screen Freeview TV and DVD player, along with a 17th-century inglenook fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, as well as a breakfast bar with two stools. Cleaning materials and detergents are provided for guests’ convenience. Meals can be enjoyed in the separate dining room, which features a glass table with four comfortable leather chairs.
Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite facilities, including a walk-in shower. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom enjoys views across the surrounding meadows. A family bathroom on the first floor includes a WC, wash basin and a shower over the bath.
All bedding is hypoallergenic, with duvets, pure cotton sheets and towels provided. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
Outside, the rear of the property features a secluded garden with a wooden table, chairs and a barbecue, ideal for outdoor dining. The front garden offers open space and a bench seat, providing another peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
