Handley Farm Holidays offer beautifully appointed self-catering holiday accommodation in Somerset, outside Waterrow near Taunton. The self-catering cottages and luxury B&B Barn Suites are set within acres of picturesque farmland, woodland and ponds, offering wonderful walks, beautiful sunsets and far-reaching views. The farm is home to an abundance of wildlife, as well as horses, sheep, chickens, ducks and goats.
The Dairy
The Dairy is the most popular and spacious cottage, sleeping up to four guests. One bedroom features a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with both bath and shower. The second bedroom offers a zip-and-link super king-size bed, which can be arranged as two singles, and has an en suite shower room.
The open-plan kitchen enjoys views across the rolling countryside, while the elegant sitting room features exposed beams, large windows and a log burner, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Dairy also benefits from a hot tub.
The Cider Barn
The Cider Barn sleeps up to six guests and offers a luxurious feel throughout. The open-plan living space includes a well-equipped kitchen with far-reaching views of the Somerset countryside at one end and a tastefully furnished sitting area at the other, complete with exposed beams and a log burner.
There are three bedrooms, all prepared for guests’ arrival. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor – one with a king-size bed and the other with a four-poster double bed. The third bedroom is upstairs and offers twin beds. The modern ground floor bathroom includes a bath, separate shower, washbasin and WC.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden with south-facing decking, garden furniture and an eight-seater hot tub.
A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times due to the surrounding farm animals and wildlife.
The Old Stables
The Old Stables is a beautifully converted stable block, ideal for couples seeking a special retreat. The open-plan kitchen and dining area features a vaulted ceiling, and the kitchen is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The living area includes a cosy sofa, log burner, TV and DVD player.
The luxurious bedroom offers a king-size bed, freestanding roll-top double-ended bath, TV and elegant furnishings. The en suite bathroom includes a large shower. Outside, there is a small private courtyard to relax in.
Visiting Waterrow & Exploring Somerset
