Rhydd Barn offers attractive self-catering accommodation just 3 miles from Malvern. This charming stone barn enjoys wonderful views of the Malvern Hills and is perfectly positioned for exploring Worcestershire.
Rhydd Barn is proud to have won one of the rare Visit England ROSE Awards 2025, presented to outstanding accommodation providers. Only 100 accommodation providers are selected to receive a ROSE Award each year.
Accommodation
Originally built in 1850, the barn has been beautifully restored to provide high-quality accommodation while retaining its character. Features include wooden floors, pine beams and traditional black ironwork.
On the ground floor, there is a relaxing open-plan living space with underfloor heating and a well-equipped kitchen/dining area. Kitchen facilities include a fridge and freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. In the converted pigsty across the patio, guests will find an additional freezer and spacious fridge. A separate utility room houses the washing machine. The dining and sitting area enjoys fabulous views of the Malvern Hills. There is also a ground floor high-pressure shower, along with a separate toilet and wash basin.
The first floor features a lovely high-ceilinged area with French windows opening onto a small balcony, perfectly positioned to take in the glorious views. The double bedroom includes an en suite main bathroom. Open pine ladder-style steps lead to the galleried second floor, where there is a mezzanine level with a futon sofa bed. Additional facilities include a smart TV, DVD player and a vintage record player/audio cassette/radio mini hi-fi unit.
Outside, guests can relax on the south- and west-facing patio and lawn area, complete with an outdoor table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining while enjoying the surrounding scenery.
