Located just a stone’s throw from the golden sandy beaches of Low Newton, the cottages and lodges provide an ideal base for exploring this diverse and beautiful region.
The site offers 24 beautifully furnished self-catering properties available throughout the year. Accommodation ranges from traditional farm cottages full of character to contemporary-style lodges, ensuring there is a property to suit a wide variety of tastes and requirements.
The cottages accommodate varying group sizes, with the smallest sleeping two guests and the largest sleeping up to eight. All lodges sleep four guests and are designed to provide a high level of comfort. Situated just beyond the sand dunes of Beadnell Bay, the lodges benefit from direct beach access via a nearby path. The spacious open-plan ground floor opens out onto a private decking area, creating a perfect space for relaxing in the afternoon or evening sun while enjoying views across the surrounding countryside.
Within the private complex, a dedicated children’s play area allows younger guests to enjoy swings, slides and climbing frames in a safe environment.
Newton-by-the-Sea is ideally positioned on Northumberland’s breathtaking coastline, midway between Newcastle upon Tyne and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The area is rich in history and natural beauty, with numerous castles, medieval towns and charming villages nearby, including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Alnwick. The Northumberland National Park is also close by and is home to the rolling Cheviot Hills, which stretch from Carter Bar on the Scottish border to Yetholm Mains, offering landscapes of heather moorland, quiet forests and secluded valleys.
