Ideally located just a short drive from the three famous market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton, the property is perfectly suited to extended family celebrations, corporate events and group gatherings, from ladies’ retreats to club weekends away.
Farmhouse & Annexe
The accommodation comprises a beautifully renovated farmhouse and annexe, sleeping between 20 and 24 guests. The property offers either nine or eleven bedrooms and eight or ten bathrooms, with private bathrooms available for almost every bedroom. There is ample space for everyone to dine, relax and socialise together.
The ground floor features a spacious open-plan design, creating a wonderful area to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen includes white shaker-style fitted cupboards, solid oak and granite worktops, and a Belfast sink. Appliances include an AGA-style oil-fired cooker and a second range cooker with two ovens, along with a breakfast area. French doors open onto a choice of rear terraces, ideal for al fresco dining while enjoying uninterrupted countryside views.
The dining area features two magnificent dining tables that can be pushed together to accommodate the whole group. After a day of exploring, guests can relax in the spacious beamed sitting room, complete with a double-sided wood-burning stove. This leads into a second sitting area, designed in an orangery style, offering a peaceful space to enjoy the far-reaching views.
Each bedroom is individually furnished with thoughtful touches to ensure a restful stay. Ten of the eleven bedrooms feature luxurious en suite facilities, complemented by fluffy towels and bathrobes.
For groups wishing to accommodate up to four additional guests, the Coach House can be made available at an optional extra cost. Nestled within the same courtyard setting, it provides two further en suite bedrooms.

Uppermoor Farmhouse enjoys a fantastic location, with a network of footpaths and bridleways directly accessible from the doorstep. The nearby town of Ashbourne, known as the gateway to the Peak District, offers boutiques, antique shops, excellent restaurants and charming Georgian architecture. Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell Pudding, and Buxton, a historic spa town with beautiful Pavilion Gardens and theatre, are also well worth visiting.
The owners are fortunate to have 70 acres of rolling green fields surrounding the property. Guests can enjoy spectacular sunsets and admire the iconic dry-stone boundary walls that create a picturesque patchwork landscape.
