Accommodation

This early eighteenth-century barn has been carefully restored while retaining many of its original character features. Old beams and stone flags remain from when the building was originally used as a cow shelter, creating a charming and historic atmosphere that is ideal for a romantic break in the countryside.

The spacious and comfortable sitting room features a log-burning stove, comfortable seating, books and jigsaws, providing a cosy space to relax. From the living room, guests enter a pretty dining room furnished with a pine table and chairs.

Uppermoor Farmhouse & Annexe, on the outskirts of Parwich village, offers large groups the perfect venue to enjoy exceptional comfort in an idyllic Peak District setting. Farmhouse & Annexe

The accommodation comprises a beautifully renovated farmhouse and annexe, sleeping between 20 and 24 guests. Billy’s Bothy

Set in the heart of the scenic Derbyshire Dales and on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Billy’s Bothy is a stunning historic Derbyshire luxury self-catering cottage, nestled within a quiet and peaceful pastureland setting. Surrounded by the beautiful gardens of the Grade II listed Offcote Grange, the cottage lies just over one mile from the charming market town of Ashbourne. Guests can enjoy outstanding views across the Henmoor Valley and a small nature lake, where cattle, sheep, chickens and resident donkeys graze contentedly in the surrounding pastureland. It is an ideal location to relax and unwind or to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family.

A wide range of attractions and activities are close by, making the area perfect for walking and cycling, as well as exploring the many highlights of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District.

This delightful Derbyshire cottage is built from ancient red brick and features an abundance of exposed beams and revealed brickwork throughout. A mix of stone, oak and tiled floors adds to its character and charm, while the downstairs windows are a particularly attractive feature, with elegant curved arches over preserved historic openings.

Billy’s Bothy is an unusual and characterful ‘upside-down house’, built into the bank to provide ground-floor access with bedrooms located on both the ground and first-floor levels.

The main entrance on the ground floor is accessed through a striking feature oak door, leading to a bespoke oak staircase that rises to the galleried kitchen above. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, along with a cot and two single sofa beds (Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3). Also on this level is an optional annex bedroom (Bedroom 6), which offers twin beds and an additional single sofa bed. All bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities.

The first floor includes two further double bedrooms (Bedrooms 4 and 5), one of which also includes a fourth single sofa bed and a cot. Both bedrooms are en-suite, allowing the cottage to accommodate up to 16 guests in total.

Also located on the first floor is the impressive galleried kitchen, which overlooks the entrance hall. It features bespoke handmade pine units, tiled flooring, granite worktops and a traditional French Belfast sink. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a welcoming dining room, seating between 14 and 16 guests and offering all that is needed for memorable group meals. Guests may choose to self-cater or arrange for a professional catering company, and there is also a good selection of nearby restaurants and takeaways. Next to the dining room is a large, comfortably furnished lounge with a wood-burning stove, large flat-screen smart TV and DVD player. This space opens out onto a patio area with cast patio furniture for 16 guests, a barbecue and a fire pit. A hot tub is also located off the patio and may be hired by arrangement.

Extensive flower-filled gardens, orchards and lawned areas surround the cottage and are available for guests to enjoy. Plant enthusiasts may also wish to explore the walled gardens, which can be arranged on request.

The cottage is fully centrally heated throughout and includes a cosy log-burning stove, ensuring comfort all year round. All heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and complimentary Wi-Fi are included, and there is ample private off-road parking for all guests.

A sauna and hot tub are available on site for hire by arrangement only, and additional pampering treatments can also be organised. Children are very welcome, with two high chairs, two cots, a baby bath, changing mat and potty provided. Billy’s Bothy is a strictly no-smoking and no-pets establishment.
