Visiting the Area

This part of the country is ideal for a coastal holiday, with a beach and scenic coastal paths to enjoy around Brancaster. West Heath is a spacious and luxurious self-catering house, beautifully positioned in the coastal village of Brancaster Staithe. Just a short walk from the village hub, harbour, popular pubs, coastal paths and local shops, it offers everything families or groups of friends could wish for. Designed with sustainability in mind, the house features a bright, open-plan layout that is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Guests can enjoy a summer barbecue on the large south-west-facing terrace or curl up by the wood-burning stove during the winter months.

Accommodation

The ground floor includes a mobility-friendly, step-free bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, along with a snug featuring a 65-inch smart TV with multiple streaming services. A utility room provides additional convenience, equipped with a wine fridge, Belfast sink, washer and dryer. A downstairs cloakroom and a welcoming hallway with generous hanging space complete the entrance area.

At the heart of West Heath is the expansive kitchen, dining and sitting area. The modern kitchen is equipped with two ovens, including a steam oven, a microwave, plate warmer, Bora hob, dishwasher, boiling-water tap, coffee machine and a full range of mixers and food-prep equipment. The dining table seats twelve, while the sitting area offers a large L-shaped sofa, a 55-inch smart TV and a wood-burning stove. Bi-fold doors open onto two terraces, one of which features a teak table, twelve chairs and a cantilever umbrella overlooking a large, enclosed and beautifully maintained garden.

Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms: one with a super-king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, and another with twin beds and an en-suite shower room. In the garden cabin, two additional twin rooms share a shower room, offering flexible accommodation for larger groups. The property provides parking for three cars and is secured by electric gates. At the entrance sits The Siding, a beautifully renovated one-bedroom guesthouse sleeping two, which can be rented alongside West Heath or independently.

West Heath can be booked for groups of six, ten or twelve.

For six guests, the main house is included, offering three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

For ten guests, the garden cabin is added, providing two twin bedrooms and a shared shower room.

For twelve guests, The Siding is also included, featuring a super-king bedroom, private terrace, well-equipped kitchen, modern living space, smart TV, storage and its own parking area.

Walnut Cottage offers wonderful self-catering accommodation between the quaint villages of Burnham Market and Stanhoe, nestled in the small hamlet of Muckleton. We are close to the bustling town of Kings Lynn and perfect for a tranquil break in Norfolk.

Our tastefully furnished cottage sleeps up to 5 people, great for a family or group getaway. A range of facilities is available to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

A cosy sitting room is perfect for relaxing and socialising. Facilities include comfortable leather sofas on either side of a large, beamed fireplace housing an electric style wood burner, a TV and a DVD player. This makes a great space for unwinding with a morning coffee whilst enjoying views of the paddock.

The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances for home cooking: a washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer and ceramic electric cooker/oven, dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy a delicious feast around the dining table which seats 5 people.

The main bedroom has a pine double bed with fitted cupboards overlooking the pasture and has an en suite shower and WC. Bedroom 2 has a pine double bed, dressing table and fitted cupboard, whilst bedroom 3 has a single bed with a pine chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Downstairs there is also a bath, shower and WC.

Outside there is a large, enclosed garden with off-road parking for 2 cars and a boat (approx. one-quarter of an acre). A delightful, paved patio area has an outside table, chairs, sun lounges and Webber BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

We are only a short distance from some beautiful beaches and fabulous bird-watching areas. Only 5 minutes away is Burnham Market, home to a butcher, fishmonger, bakery, off-license, post office, bookshops, art galleries and much more. A lovely farmers' market is held on the first Saturday of every month at Creake Abbey. The village also has a great selection of restaurants and pubs. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
