High Lane Farm offers three individual holiday cottages, all thoughtfully converted from a Grade II Listed stone-built barn. Combining original character with comfortable facilities, the properties enjoy attractive countryside views and provide a relaxing home from home.
The cottages feature an unusual upside-down living arrangement, with bedrooms and bathrooms located on the ground floor and the main living spaces upstairs.
The kitchens are well equipped for a self-catering holiday and include a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge with icebox. Each dining area has a rectangular extendable table with seating for up to six people, while the comfortable lounge areas provide plenty of space to relax after a day exploring Cumbria.
Stable Cottage – Sleeps 5
Stable Cottage accommodates up to five guests and is suitable for both longer holidays and short breaks. All of the bedrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, with comfortable living accommodation completing this characterful countryside retreat.
Old Byre Cottage – Sleeps 4
Old Byre Cottage sleeps up to four guests and has two bedrooms on the ground floor. These include a flexible double and single room, along with a second bedroom featuring bunk beds.
The cottage provides a cosy base for families, couples or friends wishing to explore the surrounding countryside.
Hayloft Cottage – Sleeps 4
Hayloft Cottage provides ground-level accommodation for up to four guests. Its flexible sleeping arrangements can be configured as two double beds or four single beds, making it a practical choice for different groups of visitors.
