Dyfnia Bach is a delightful 19th-century stone cottage situated in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, offering a peaceful retreat in one of the most scenic parts of Wales. This charming property provides comfortable and homely accommodation for up to four guests on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey — the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Accommodation

The owners of Dyfnia Bach have created a welcoming space where guests feel instantly at home. The cottage features two ground-floor bedrooms: one double (accessible via three steps) and one twin. A crog loft, or crow’s nest, has been thoughtfully converted into an additional bedroom, equipped with two Z-beds ideal for children aged five and above.

The inviting sitting room includes a cosy log burner and oil-fired central heating, ensuring comfort on cooler evenings. Entertainment is provided with a television, DVD player, and a radio with CD player. The well-equipped kitchen contains everything needed for a self-catering break, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxed and convenient stay.

Outside, guests can make the most of a spacious enclosed garden complete with a picnic table and BBQ. A bench positioned at the top of the garden provides the perfect spot to take in the beautiful surroundings — including views of the 28-metre column of the Marquis of Anglesey and, in the distance, the majestic mountains of Eryri.

Gulliver The Quirky Camper offers the ultimate unusual getaway for 2 people in the village of Blean, near Canterbury in Kent.

Accommodation
Gulliver is much more than your average camper and has masses of charm and character.

The inside is beautifully decorated and has a wood burning stove and plenty of mod cons. There is a fridge, mini electric oven/grill and gas hob.

Outside there is an outdoor TV which you can sit and watch whilst relaxing in the hot tub and there is also an outdoor hot water shower. You can dine alfresco and toast marshmallows on the fire pit whilst enjoying the starry skies.

The camper is static and not available to be moved.

The Area
The ancient Blean Woodlands is just a short stroll away and there are lots of villages dotted around for exploring. Other attractions nearby include:

A Secret Garden is a truly unique experience you will never forget, offering a wonderful glamping experience in Blean, Kent. Our quirky space is the ideal hideaway from which to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Accommodation
Our stunning accommodation offers a comfy and cosy king sized spring pocket mattress, tucked up into framework of the pod which has amazing views from the glass roof and sides. A wood burner and underfloor heating are provided, ensuring you will stay cosy even on the coldest of nights.

The luxurious holiday home has a fridge freezer to make sure you only experience the coolest of drink in the sunshine! A stable door opens from the side so you can take a quick dash in luxury towelling robes to the wooden 2 person hot tub and sit gazing up at the stars whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles.

A flushing toilet and shower at the end of the hideaway is included. The outdoors space is ideal for romantic breaks for 2, where you will find an outdoor fire pit and BBQ to make the most of the lovely setting. Small tables and chairs are provided, great for relaxing with a morning coffee or a glass of wine!

You can enjoy the amazing sound of our Bose Bluetooth Speaker and linen and towels are provided, ensuring you have the most relaxing stay possible. Please note, there is no TV and no WiFi.

Rosan The Annexe is a comfortable and private self-contained holiday apartment located in Lyme Regis, Dorset. The accommodation sleeps two in a quiet part of beautiful and historic Lyme Regis, just a few minutes’ walk from the sea and the famous “Cobb” harbour and the magnificent surrounding countryside.

Accommodation
This charming property consists of a large open-plan living room with a double bed, and comfortable furnishings with sliding doors opening to the garden patio with garden furniture. The kitchen area, on the upper level, comprises work tops and a breakfast bar. It is fully equipped with a full cooker, fridge and microwave. A separate tiled shower room has a walk-in shower and loo.

All of the above are accessed from the small hallway with the entrance door. Facilities include:

Flat-screen Freeview television and DVD player.
Radio / CD player.
Duvet, pillows and extra blankets.

Home Farm Holiday Cottages, Slingsby, York, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-6)


Home Farm Cottages offers superb self catering accommodation in Slingsby. Our two cottages near York have been sympathetically converted from old farm buildings, providing a cosy and well-maintained home from home. The ground-level cottages offer a wonderful base for exploring this stunning part of North Yorkshire.

The Arches
The Arches holiday cottage sleeps four people and is comfortable, well maintained and furnished to a high standard. The accommodation comprises:
Entrance hall.
Sitting/dining room with patio doors and open fire (there is also an electric fire).
Well-equipped kitchen.
2 bedrooms: 1 double with en suite shower room, WC and wash hand basin and 1 twin.
Bathroom with shaver points, bath, shower, wash hand basin and WC.
The cottage is very well equipped, with many facilities, including widescreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and immersion water heater.

The Stables
It is a few years since we set to work converting the old stables into a cosy holiday cottage, and we're very pleased with the result. The Stables retains many of its original features: high kitchen ceilings, exposed wood beams and attractive stonework. It is furnished to a very high standard with quality furniture, widescreen TV with Freeview, Video / DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen.

The Stables holiday cottage is full of the kind character and original charm you might expect from a converted farm building. Add to this the many home comforts and facilities provided, and you have a most agreeable and comfortable way to spend a week self-catering in North Yorkshire. The Stables holiday cottage sleeps six people. The accommodation comprises:

Sitting room with wood burning stove and patio doors leading into the conservatory, with patio furniture.
Dining room with exposed stone walls and wood beams.
Well-equipped kitchen.
Utility room.
Three bedrooms: One double, one twin and one single with an additional hideaway bed.
Bathroom with shaver points, bath, shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Separate shower room with shower, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside there is ample private parking.

Visiting Slingsby & Exploring North Yorkshire
In Slingsby you will find a pub, sports and social club and children's play park. Nearby are the market towns of Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley, while York and the East Coast are also within easy reach. Brilliant attractions to visit include:

Smithy End offers charming self catering accommodation in the village of Combe St Nicholas. Our self-contained cottage near Chard is in a great position for discovering all that Somerset has to offer.

Accommodation
Our cosy cottage adjoins the owner’s home and is great for a romantic getaway, based on the edge of The Blackdown Hills. The cottage is well-equipped and tastefully furnished throughout.

A private front door leads to the sitting room that comes with comfy seating, a toasty wood burner and a TV with Fire Stick and Netflix. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen/dining area that comes with a range of appliances: fridge, hob, oven, microwave and toaster.

A lovely beamed bedroom is perfect for a restful night’s sleep and comes with blackout curtains. A bathroom has a bath with a shower.

Outside there is a secret garden, offering a great spot to unwind in with an afternoon coffee.

Visiting Combe St Nicholas & Exploring Somerset
Our cottage is just a minute’s walk to the well-stocked village shop, whilst just across the is the village pub, The Green Dragon. Right on our doorstep are lots of picturesque walks. You can visit Hestercombe House & Gardens, home to wonderful houses and beautiful grounds to explore. Great attractions to visit include:

29 Broughton Grove, Skipton, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-3)


29 Broughton Grove is a cosy mid-terrace cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac. A sheltered sunny, safe garden, with private access onto the canal towpath in countryside surroundings. We are just the place for relaxing, or exploration of Skipton town and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Convenient bus and rail service, and private parking. 1 or 2 dogs are welcome.

Accommodation
Our cottage is perfect for a peaceful break in a lovely area of the country. The enclosed garden is ideal for al fresco dining in the sun and the cottage sleeps 3 people in total.

A traditionally furnished comfortable lounge includes coal-effect gas fire, Freesat TV and DVD player. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: full-size gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster, and dining table. The kitchen windows offer delightful views of the narrow boats gliding along the canal.

A large family bedroom with a good quality, very comfortable double and single bed. The bathroom comes with a shower over the full-size bath.

From the kitchen, a pleasant enclosed fully dog-proof, interesting garden, with a patio and washing line. Garden furniture is provided, great for a sunny afternoon tea. There is a private access onto the towpath, via the gate and seven steps; offering countryside views and gentle walking to the park and Skipton town; otherwise, head left towards Gargrave. A dog walker’s delight.

Visiting Skipton & Exploring North Yorkshire
The cottage is on the outskirts of the market town of Skipton - often called 'the Gateway to the Dales' - renowned for its well-preserved castle, quaint cobbled ginnels, it's wide high street with market stalls on the setts.

There are many local attractions and activities: the park, sports and leisure centres, museum, cinema, Settle-Carlisle railway, cycle routes, walks and rambles from the easy to the strenuous, such as the Three Peaks and the Dales Way. Being the nodal town of the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton offers amazingly easy access to many well known visitor gems such as Keighley and Oakworth of the Railway children; Haworth of the Brontes; the famous spa towns of Harrogate and Ilkley; Hawes and Reeth, of Herriot fame, and the magical flood-lit Fountains Abbey, to name just a few. Not surprisingly, visitors return again and again, saying "There is so much more to do and see!"
