Accommodation
The spacious open-plan living area enjoys lovely countryside views and provides a comfortable place to relax. The lounge features a log burner alongside an impressive entertainment system, including a 55-inch HD TV, full Sky TV package, Netflix, BT Sport and Sonos surround sound.
Superfast WiFi is available, while books, Ordnance Survey maps and board games are also provided for quieter evenings.
Upstairs, the large en-suite bedroom features a luxurious super king-size bed overlooking the open-plan living space and the countryside beyond.
The contemporary en-suite bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, stylish vanity unit, backlit LED mirror and underfloor heating. Guests can also enjoy a 32-inch HD TV with Sky and Sonos speakers in the bedroom.
A separate dressing area provides plenty of storage, along with a dressing table, LED mirror and hairdryer.
Outdoor Living
Double glass doors open onto a south-facing patio with wonderful views across the Tamar Valley towards Cotehele and the River Tamar.
The outdoor area is furnished with sun loungers, a table and chairs and a BBQ set, providing an inviting setting for dining outside or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Local wildlife can often be spotted in the surrounding countryside, with deer, foxes and sparrowhawks among the possible visitors.
Special Touches
Guests are welcomed with a Cornish-themed hamper containing a selection of confectionery, fresh eggs from the property's free-range hens, milk and basic food supplies.
For special occasions, romantic packages can also be arranged. These can include flowers, champagne, chocolates, petals, balloons and banners, helping to make celebrations even more memorable.
A selection of activities can also be arranged, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, coasteering, surfing and go-karting. Early check-in and check-out may be available on request.
Exploring the Tamar Valley & Cornwall
The Old Sunday School is situated in the peaceful village of Harrowbarrow in the Tamar Valley, providing an excellent starting point for exploring Cornwall and the surrounding countryside.
Kit Hill Country Park is nearby, while the neighbouring village of Metherell can be reached in approximately 15 minutes on foot.
The historic market town of Tavistock is around seven miles away. Guests can also enjoy days exploring Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor, Tintagel Castle, Whitsand Bay and The Eden Project, all of which are less than an hour away.

The Old Sunday School sleeps a maximum of two guests and does not accommodate children. Pets are welcome, making it an excellent choice for couples looking to enjoy Cornwall with their canine companion.
