Les Brehauts Farm, St Pierre du Bois, Guernsey (Sleeps 1-7)

Les Brehauts Farm is in the centre of the small village of St. Pierre du Bois, surrounded by beautiful country lanes. It offers three holiday cottages which are ideal for couples.

Cider Croft is a bright and airy holiday home on 3 levels. It has a well-equipped kitchen, gallery-style lounge & an en suite double bedroom.

Sea Croft is also built over 3 levels. It has all the same facilities as Cider Croft.

The Stable is a lovely renovated holiday home that can accommodate 4 people. The open plan kitchen/diner has wonderful high ceilings.

The lovely village of St Pierre du Boi has plenty of wonderful walks straight from the farm.

The Barn at Lower Beach, Linley, Bishops Castle, Shropshire (Sleeps 1-2)

The Barn at Lower Beach is a lovely self-catering timber-clad barn for two people at Linley, near Bishops Castle in Shropshire. We are nestled in a gorgeous location, offering amazing countryside views over Linley Hill.

The apartment has been beautifully converted to offer quality accommodation, perfect for a romantic getaway.

The view over the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from garden chairs taken out into the recently planted orchard beside the Barn. The Barn is but a step away from the main house, Lower Beach.

The Barn lies only a short distance from the Stiperstones Ridge to the north and west and to the Long Mynd in the east. One stretch of The Shropshire Way, which follows the long avenue of ancient beeches climbing Linley Hill, is a short walk away and can be seen from the garden at Lower Beach.

The Lazy Fish, Embleton, Cumbria (Sleeps 1-6)

The Lazy Fish offers stunning self-catering accommodation in Embleton, Cumbria. Situated in the spectacular countryside of the Lake District, we are perfect for an idyllic break.

The Lazy Fish is a wonderful barn conversion that boasts many original features whilst offering modern accommodation. This charming property is well insulated and comes with eco-friendly underfloor heating and a wood burner for added warmth. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is stylish, comfortable and will suit all your needs. Two beautifully furnished bedrooms are available. There is a shower wet room and a bathroom, and you can unwind in our sumptuous outdoor spa pool.

The Little Fish is a modern and stylish studio property next door to the Lazy Fish. The luxurious double bath is accompanied by the babble of the brook outside. The kitchen is well equipped and for an additional upgrade, we can provide a champagne welcome hamper with homemade brownies, snacks and all you need for breakfast. Outside there is a private courtyard with a BBQ and seating. An ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining.

We are near the market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth which have a variety of shops, pubs and cafes. There are swimming pools, climbing walls and museums for families whilst Keswick's Theatre by the Lake offers a cultural programme of plays and events. Lots of activities can be enjoyed in the local area, such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking and watersports. The property boasts views across to Skiddaw, the 3rd highest peak in the Lake District.

Borrobol Cottages, Borrobol, Helmsdale, Sutherland (Sleeps 1-6)

Our two self-catering cottages (sleeping up to 6 and up to 4) each come with their own rowing boat and private wild brown trout fishing on one of Sutherland's most scenic lochs.

Just under two hours from Inverness, Borrobol is a secret and remote part of Britain, hardly touched by tourism. The estate lies at the heart of the north's peatlands, known as the Flow Country, where open moorland, wild trout fishing lochs and burns sit under wide skies. At one time a Viking settlement in the remote Strath of Kildonan, Borrobol is a family estate with a traditional working sheep farm by the banks of the famous River Helmsdale.

The Gardener's House is now a comfortable holiday house with a roaring fire and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms have restored period fire-places, gabled windows, wooden floors, hanging space and chests of drawers. The comfortable sitting room looks west with a clear three-mile view to the faraway hills. An open fire burns coal or peat cut from traditional peat-banks on the estate. The kitchen has its original flagstone floor and traditional wooden furniture. Dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A rough-grass garden is fenced and safe for young children.

Gardener's House and Crocdhu Cottage can be taken together for larger groups up to ten.

Crocdhu Cottage has been newly redecorated as a traditional single-storey, self-catering cottage with spectacularly open views of the hills. The light pours in from the west in the evenings when wild deer often come down to feed right by the house. Beautifully light open plan sitting room and kitchen with a woodburning stove and cosy dining room off them.

Bowmont Cottage, Mindrum, Coldstream, Northumberland (Sleeps 1-4)

Bowmont Cottage in Mindrum offers charming self-catering accommodation on a family-run farm. Based in a wonderful countryside position in Northumberland, we are a paradise for tranquillity and relaxation.

Our ground-level property boasts wonderful views over the fields and towards the Cheviot Hills.

Two superb bedrooms come with comfortable beds. The master room has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. A travel cot and folding camp bed are both available. Both rooms share a shower room with a shower, heated towels rail, WC and handbasin.

We are in a fabulous position, only a 5-minute walk from the Scottish border and close to Northumberland National Park. The nearby town of Wooler has five pubs, two wine bars, cafes and takeaways. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the glorious routes and trails dotted around The Cheviot Hills, with Breamish Valley Hillfort Trail, Hetha’s Hike and Three Forts Foray offering some of the best.
