Additionally, about once a month, sand racing enthusiasts bring their old bangers to the beach, racing at high speeds—a spectacle worth witnessing.

For those who enjoy walking, the Fort Houmet headland is only a pleasant 20-minute walk away, ideal for an after-dinner stroll or morning jog. This area is popular with local fishermen as a good bass fishing spot and offers historical interest with a restored World War II bunker and a shrine decorated entirely with shells.
