This charming property can sleep 5 people in a double and a bunk room where the lower bunk is a double bed. The spacious living room has beamed ceilings, a multi-fuel stove, smart TV & a DVD player. There is a well equipped open plan kitchen/diner. Outside you will find a quaint patio area with seating.

Staithes is a haven for walkers, families, fishermen and those just looking to relax. Just a short walk away is a cafe, butchers and other shops.

Anchor Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation in Portland. We are in a fantastic position, only a mile from Portland Bill and just half a mile from Blacknor on the Island’s west coast and Church Ope Cove on the east. Dorset is a gorgeous part of the country, with a vast array of castles, gardens, museums, beaches and countryside to see.

Our wonderful cottage sleeps up to 5 people and is beautifully furnished throughout. The property is a real home from home and boasts gorgeous features, such as wooden deck beams and a gas stove set in the old stone fireplace.

Upstairs there are 3 wonderful bedrooms: a master double with sea views, a twin and a single room which overlooks the rear garden. 

The front garden is the ultimate sun trap and comes with a delightful pew, great for relaxing whilst admiring stunning views to the south.

Portland offers an abundance of natural beauty to see, from the golden sands of Chesil Beach to rugged clifftop walks and magical wildlife. Overlooking Portland Harbour stands Portland Castle; enjoy glorious views from the gun platforms and learn about its rich history through a riveting audio tour. Tout Quarry offers a unique day out, housing a range of quirky sculptures.

Anchor Cottage, Minehead, Somerset (Sleeps 1-4)

Anchor Cottage is a 17th Century property that today provides relaxing self-catering accommodation with sea views. It is located within the coastal town of Minehead, Somerset. It is in a great location right at the start of the South West Coastal Path. The town's amenities are also a short walk away.

This holiday home has been sympathetically restored and it can accommodate 4 people. Bedrooms consist of a double and a twin.

An easy walk away you will find places to eat, shops, the harbour and beach. The South West Coast Path starts just on the doorstep of the cottage, with breathtaking cliff walks to Bossington, Porlock and beyond. Minehead station is a short stroll along the seafront where you can catch a steam train to various locations.

The town and surrounding area have some interesting attractions such as Dunster Castle, Yarn Market and Blenheim Gardens.
