The view over the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from garden chairs taken out into the recently planted orchard beside the Barn. The Barn is but a step away from the main house, Lower Beach. 

The Barn lies only a short distance from the Stiperstones Ridge to the north and west and to the Long Mynd in the east. One stretch of The Shropshire Way, which follows the long avenue of ancient beeches climbing Linley Hill, is a short walk away and can be seen from the garden at Lower Beach.

The hustle and bustle of St Andrews centre is just around the corner which is perfect for those who like to be close to local amenities. Turn left outside the front door and you are immediately enveloped in golfing culture. Turn right and you are into a historical wonderland of the castle, the harbour and the folklore of the cathedral.
