Linnhe Croft Holiday Cottages offer self-catering accommodation at Matheson Croft near Port Appin in Argyll. Surrounded by spectacular Scottish scenery, the cottages enjoy wonderful views across Loch Linnhe towards the Morvern Hills and the mountains of Mull.
Situated away from the main road on the shores of Loch Linnhe, the cottages form part of a working lochside croft. The peaceful setting provides plenty of space for children to enjoy the outdoors while guests can relax and appreciate the panoramic views and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside.
Recently built as a row of three traditional Highland-style cottages, each property is completely self-contained with its own private entrance. Guests also have access to a large shared parking area and garden.
Inside, each cottage features a spacious contemporary open-plan lounge and dining area together with a fully equipped kitchen, all furnished to a high standard. Each cottage has two spacious and comfortably furnished bedrooms, comprising one double and one twin. A sofa bed is also available in the lounge if required. The cottages comfortably sleep up to 4 guests plus a cot.
Two of the cottages have bathrooms with a separate bath and high-pressure shower, while the third features a more spacious shower room. Accessible facilities are also available, and guests are advised to enquire directly for exact details.
Children are welcome, while pets can be accommodated by arrangement. Additional facilities include Wi-Fi and off-street parking.
The croft provides direct access to the shores of Loch Linnhe, where guests can discover an abundance of tidal sea life, shells and interesting stones. It is a particularly enjoyable way for younger visitors to discover more about the natural environment surrounding the loch.
