Middle Farm Holiday Cottages offer superb self catering accommodation in the peaceful hamlet of Brushfield in Derbyshire. Accommodation
Guests can choose from two well-equipped self catering properties, Albertine and Maigold. Both offer comfortable accommodation, outdoor space and everything needed for an enjoyable Peak District getaway.
Albertine – Sleeps 1–8
Albertine is the larger of the two properties and can accommodate up to eight guests, making it ideal for families or groups looking to enjoy a countryside break together.
The modern kitchen is well equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A separate dining area enjoys lovely views down the valley, while the comfortable living room provides plenty of space to relax and includes a TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi.
There are four bedrooms, comprising two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. One of the twin bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, making it particularly convenient for guests with limited mobility.
A large bathroom can be found on the first floor, while the ground floor has a separate shower and toilet. Both double bedrooms also benefit from en suite facilities.
Maigold – Sleeps 1–4
Maigold is the smaller of the two cottages and sleeps up to four guests. Full of character, it features a spacious lounge with a beamed ceiling and a cosy log burning stove, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Peak District.
The lounge also includes a TV, piano, DVD player and Wi-Fi. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed, exposed roof trusses and a door leading directly onto the patio area. The second bedroom has two single beds. Guests have use of a bathroom and a separate shower room.
Outdoor Facilities
Both properties benefit from ample off-street parking, bike storage and access to a garden and courtyard area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Shared launderette facilities are also available.
EV charging is provided, making Middle Farm Holiday Cottages a convenient option for guests travelling with an electric vehicle.
Visiting Brushfield and Exploring Derbyshire
Middle Farm Holiday Cottages are ideally placed for discovering some of the Peak District's best-known towns, villages and attractions. Bakewell, Buxton, Chatsworth, Matlock and Hope Valley are all within easy reach, while the pretty village of Taddington is just one mile from the farm.
Walking enthusiasts are particularly well catered for, with numerous picturesque routes available directly from the doorstep. Monsal Dale and its famous trail, Millers Dale and High Dale are all just a short walk away.
The surrounding countryside offers spectacular views and plenty of opportunities to spot wildflowers, animals and birdlife along the way. Whether guests choose to explore on foot from the cottages or venture further into Derbyshire, there is an abundance of beautiful scenery and fascinating places to discover.
Further Information
Weekly rates range from approximately £670 to £1,600, depending on the property and season. Short breaks are also available with a minimum stay of three nights.
Albertine sleeps a maximum of eight guests, while Maigold accommodates up to four. Children are welcome, and one dog is permitted in each property at a charge of £30 per week.
Wi-Fi, off-street parking and EV charging are available, while Maigold also features a cosy log burning stove.
