Established in 1991 and rated 3 Star by Visit England, the accommodation sleeps up to six adults and two children, plus a cot. Children of all ages and well-behaved pets are welcome.
The property is non-smoking throughout, although smoking is permitted in the garden.
Accommodation
The first floor features two comfortable bedrooms, comprising one double and one twin. There is also a shower room with a shower, toilet and hand wash basin.
Two further bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, including one double bedroom and one bunk bedroom. The bunk beds measure 5ft 6ins by 2ft 6ins and are smaller than standard full-size beds, making them suitable for children only.
The ground floor also has an internal bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle and hand wash basin, plus a separate toilet with its own hand wash basin.
As one of the double bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet are all located on the ground floor, the accommodation may be suitable for guests with partial mobility requirements.
Living & Dining
The comfortable lounge is a relaxing place to unwind and features a 32-inch flatscreen Smart TV, DVD/video player and recorder, SKY+ HD and a cosy wood-burning stove.
The kitchen and dining area is well equipped for a self catering holiday and provides dining space for up to six people.
Facilities include an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, washing line, ironing equipment and vacuum cleaner.
Heating is provided by an immersion heater, night storage heaters in the main rooms, excluding the bunk bedroom, and additional electric heaters. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
Entertainment facilities include a music system in the lounge, a radio/CD/cassette player in the kitchen and clock radios in all bedrooms. Both double bedrooms also have flatscreen Freeview TVs with built-in DVD players.
Garden & Parking
The property stands within approximately one acre of grounds with several wooded areas, creating a peaceful countryside setting.
The garden is shared with the owners and offers attractive views across the valley towards Swanage and the Isle of Wight. Guests are welcome to use the garden furniture, while younger visitors can enjoy the children's swing.
Off-road parking for three to four cars is available on the gravel driveway.
Exploring Swanage & the Surrounding Area
The property is well placed for exploring Swanage, Corfe Castle and the beautiful surrounding Dorset countryside.
The heritage steam railway running between Corfe Castle and Swanage is less than a mile away, while the nearest shop can be found approximately one mile away in Harmans Cross at the Murco petrol station.
Swanage town centre and its main beach are around three miles from the property, providing easy access to shops, places to eat and days beside the sea.
Rates & Further Information
The property is available throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period.
For both 2026 and 2027, weekly rates range from £650 to £1,000. Prices include electricity, heating, logs and bed linen.
Towels are also provided, with one bath towel and one hand towel supplied per guest. These are for use within the property only, so guests should bring their own towels for trips to the beach.
Short breaks are available out of season between October and March, priced at £125 per night with a minimum stay of three nights.
