Blandswath Cottage is a spacious and comfortably furnished holiday cottage located on the banks of the River Eden, just a five-minute drive from the centre of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria. Sleeping up to six guests, the cottage is ideally positioned for exploring the wider Cumbria area, while enjoying a peaceful riverside setting.

The welcoming living room features a multi-fuel stove and comfortable sofas, providing a cosy space to relax. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area offer all the facilities and utensils needed for a self-catering stay, while a separate utility room includes a toilet, hand basin and washer/tumble dryer for added convenience.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, prepared and made ready for guests on arrival. The accommodation comprises two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms. A travel cot and high chair are available if required, although cot bedding is not provided.
Outside, the enclosed garden is ideal for families, with a children’s slide and sandpit, along with garden furniture and a BBQ. It provides a lovely space to relax and enjoy warm summer days with family and friends.

Blandswath Cottage is situated in the Eden Valley, often described as the hidden jewel of Cumbria. Nestled between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks, the valley offers wide open spaces and rolling countryside away from the crowds. Anglers can enjoy fishing on the River Eden, which is just a short walk from the cottage (guests are asked to bring their own fishing permits).
A wide range of outdoor activities is available locally, including walking, cycling, bird watching, golf and fishing. Many scenic walks start close to the cottage, meaning there is little need to drive. Nearby footpaths take in river, woodland and fell landscapes. A short drive south leads to the historic town of Sedbergh, known for its narrow, cobbled streets.
