Y Popty
Y Popty is a quintessential country cottage, full of charm and character and ideal for a romantic retreat at any time of year. Y Llaethdy
Y Llaethdy is a charming cottage offering sea views throughout the year, providing a peaceful setting in which to unwind with a book and a glass of wine. Sleeping up to four guests, the cottage includes two bedrooms. A small beamed kitchen opens through double doors into the conservatory, which enjoys lovely views across open fields to the sea and provides direct access to the garden. The ground floor also features a bunk bedroom and a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Upstairs, there is an inviting open-plan king-size bedroom and sitting area with sweeping sea views.
A small two-person hot tub is available as an optional extra. The seaside towns of Barmouth and Aberdyfi are close by and offer sandy beaches, coastal walks, independent shops and cafés.
The Cambrian Coast Railway runs through Llwyngwril itself, providing one of the most scenic train journeys in the UK. Nature lovers can discover waterfalls, woodland walks and quiet valleys throughout Snowdonia National Park, while history enthusiasts can visit Harlech Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking the sea. With mountains, beaches and historic sites all within easy reach, Llwyngwril is an excellent base for discovering Gwynedd.
