Set amid the picturesque East Neuk of Fife, Corn Bunting Cottage is situated on a working farm and provides an ideal base for families and groups of friends looking to explore this striking part of Scotland.

Accommodation

Inside, a welcoming hallway offers space to leave walking boots behind before opening into the open-plan living area, which forms the social heart of the cottage. The lounge features comfortable seating and a Smart TV, creating a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring. On warmer days, bi-fold doors can be opened to allow fresh air to flow through the space.

The bespoke kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and flows seamlessly into the dining area, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together, whether indoors or outside in the garden. A cosy snug with a wood-burning stove provides a quieter retreat for relaxed evenings.

The cottage offers three attractive bedrooms, each with super king-size beds that can be arranged as twins on request. The main bedroom benefits from a modern en-suite shower room with underfloor heating, while the remaining bedrooms are served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside

A fully enclosed garden provides a safe and enjoyable space for both children and dogs. A covered patio area with canopy and LED lighting creates an inviting spot for evening drinks, while a gas barbecue and outdoor dining area are ideal for relaxed meals together. After dark, guests can unwind in the private hot tub and enjoy stargazing beneath the clear rural skies. Private off-road parking is available for up to four cars.

Visiting the Area

The coastal villages of Pittenweem and Anstruther are both less than two miles away, offering charming harbours, sandy beaches and a strong maritime character. Pittenweem is well known for its art galleries and annual arts festival, while Anstruther is home to the Scottish Fisheries Museum and boat trips to the Isle of May, where puffins and seals are often spotted.

Slightly further afield, St Andrews is just eight miles away and offers world-class golf, historic streets and a lively atmosphere. A wide range of attractions can be found nearby, including Kellie Castle, Kingsbarns Distillery, the Scottish Deer and Sea Life Centres, and the historic palaces of Falkland and Culross.
