Accommodation
Arranged over two floors, the cottage provides comfortable and well-planned accommodation. On the ground floor there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The first floor features an additional double bedroom, a kitchen/breakfast room and a sitting/dining room, where guests can relax and enjoy the views. A small patio area at the front of the property overlooks the harbour, providing a lovely spot to sit and take in the coastal surroundings.
Facilities include a TV, DVD player and an iPod/CD/radio player. The cottage is warm and welcoming throughout the year and is fully equipped for self-catering stays, with a gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and fridge freezer.
Parking is available at the harbourside.
Visiting Crail & Exploring Fife
Crail is a beautiful historic fishing village located in the East Neuk of Fife. The area offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling, boat trips, sailing, bird watching and a variety of outdoor activities. Many of Fife’s attractions and places of interest are within a short driving distance, making the cottage a great base for exploring the region.
The village itself is well served with amenities, including three hotels serving meals, three cafés, a fruit and vegetable shop, a butcher, two small supermarkets, a post office, a chemist and a traditional fish and chip shop. All are just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage.
There are two beaches nearby — one at the harbour and another at Roome Bay, approximately 400 metres along the coast — as well as two swing parks. Golfers will find two courses at Balcomie, around two miles east along the coastline.
