A large dining table comfortably seats ten guests, making it ideal for shared meals and social gatherings. The lounge provides a relaxing space with sumptuous seating, an OLED television with Freeview and DVD player, and a radio. There is also a cloakroom with WC and hand basin.
Two ground-floor bedrooms each feature a double bed and a private en-suite shower room. A small rear courtyard sits just outside, while the property also benefits from a large garden and patio area, providing excellent space for outdoor relaxation.
A grand staircase leads to the first floor, where guests will find a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring both a bath and shower. A second super king-size bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and leads through to an additional bunk bedroom. This layout makes it particularly suitable for families with children or young adults, with the bunk room sharing the en-suite facilities. Travel cots are welcome by prior arrangement, and all fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.
Guests have access to private off-street parking, a small rear patio with garden furniture and Wi-Fi throughout the property. The cottage also benefits from acres of communal grounds to explore, including a large grassed front garden that now features a hot tub.
The estate is home to the on-site restaurant The Saddle Room, located within a converted stable yard and renowned for its award-winning food and excellent wine cellar. This offers guests the opportunity to enjoy high-quality dining without leaving the estate. Visitors are also welcome to explore the wider estate, which extends across more than 500 acres of rural land with a network of public footpaths and bridleways, making it ideal for walking and enjoying the surrounding countryside.

Nearby, Aysgarth Falls offers a series of dramatic waterfalls and scenic walking routes, while the picturesque village of Hawes is home to the famous Wensleydale Creamery and traditional market streets. History enthusiasts can visit Bolton Castle, just a short drive away, or explore the elegant market town of Richmond, known for its impressive castle and riverside walks. The surrounding countryside offers endless opportunities for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting, making Leyburn an ideal location for discovering the natural beauty and heritage of North Yorkshire.
