Our cottage, thoughtfully designed for up to 6 people, is a haven of comfort and convenience.

Step into the light-filled living room, a perfect space to unwind. Entertainment is at your fingertips with Virgin TV and comfortable seating. The well-equipped breakfast/kitchen boasts modern appliances, including a double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, and microwave. Open the doors to the inviting patio, and on the ground floor, you'll also find a convenient cloakroom.

Upstairs, two bedrooms await your peaceful slumber: one with a double bed and the other with a king-size bed (or twin beds) and en suite facilities. A family bathroom is adjacent to the double room. Ascend to the second floor to discover another comfortable twin room.

Step outside into our enchanting garden, complete with a patio and a table with chairs, ideal for al fresco dining.

Visiting Iffley & Exploring Oxfordshire 

Enjoy the proximity to the river and easy access to the city via the nearby bus route. In the village, you'll find a welcoming community shop, two pubs serving delectable food, and two hotels. Take a leisurely stroll along the river towpath, and within just 30 minutes, you'll find yourself in the vibrant city of Oxford.

College Cruisers is a well-established canal hire fleet based in the historic city of Oxford. We are superbly based for those wishing to discover some of the best routes England has to offer. There are many fascinating villages and beautiful rolling countryside to be seen. We go the extra mile to make sure you have a truly unique and special experience.

We have 10 wonderful boats to choose from. These range in size from 2-berth up to 12-berth, giving something to suit all needs and budgets. Each boat is different and each one has a character of its own. All the boats include freshwater flush toilets, fully equipped galleys with full-size cookers and fridges, radio/cd players, a hairdryer, 240-volt inverter, mobile phone charging point, central heating, wood burners on selected boats, TV & DVD player, bed linen and free fuel.

The Oxford Canal is probably the country’s most delightful boating holiday area, meandering from the outskirts of Coventry down to our own dreaming spires of Oxford. The Oxford Canal was built to transport coal from the coalfields in the midlands to the south of England. For a time, being one of the country’s most important waterways.

A short break boating holiday takes you to Aynho or Banbury and back dependent on how energetic you feel and whether you get delayed in one of the many pubs as there are so many to choose from. They provide freshly cooked local produce and delicious real ales to help you on your way.

These charming lodges are set within 4 acres of beautiful riverside gardens & provide everything you will need for a short stay.
