The cottage provides an ideal base for those seeking a peaceful “get away from it all” break, surrounded by the fresh air, tranquillity and unspoilt scenery of the upper Ettrick Valley.

About Elspinhope

This environmentally friendly cottage is located on Cossarshill Farm, a 1,400-acre hill sheep farm situated beside the Southern Upland Way long-distance walking route. Outside the cottage, a post-and-rail fence encloses the garden area, which includes a picnic table. A path and steps lead down to the Cossarshill Burn, where there are seats beside rocky pools and a waterfall.

The aim at Elspinhope is to provide accommodation that feels like a true home from home.
