There are 9 comfortable en suite sea view rooms when you need a little space for your self. It is the unpretentious beach house where you feel instantly at home, whether you are planning a fun break with friends or a brilliant family party. Rooms consist of:

Woodyhyde Courtyard Holiday Retreat has been thoughtfully renovated from derelict, agricultural barns to offer luxurious holiday homes at Harman’s Cross, perfect for groups of families and friends. Nestled in a stunning part of Dorset near Corfe Castle, they provide a comfortable and enjoyable base from which to explore this beautiful corner of England.

The Courtyard:

When it comes to finding a place to stay that the whole family can enjoy, The Courtyard really is perfect. It offers exceptionally spacious and luxurious accommodation for up to 14 people in 7 bedrooms. To ensure you can rest and relax from the moment you arrive, we will ensure that the beds are made up ready for your arrival and that towels are provided for you for both bathing and the swimming pool! Not to mention a welcome basket with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and Nespresso pods to ensure you can enjoy some hot refreshments after your journey to us.

The main patio is to the South side of the property accessed from the lounge or the swimming pool. This extensive patio area, landscaped with raised beds, is furnished for external dining and casual sitting and sunbathing. A gate from this patio gives access to the games field and the tennis court. Located in a Log Cabin with patio doors and accessed from the main patio the gym (adult use only), has a running machine, cross trainer and exercise bike.

The West Barn:

A cosier retreat for up to 6 people. The property has recently been fitted out to a very high standard with underfloor heating throughout. This large open plan area incorporates the kitchen, the dining area and the lounge area. There is a wood-burning stove (logs provided) and a large smart TV. There is a spacious breakfast bar and working surface handmade in antique oak. From the dining and lounge area, bi-fold doors give access to the patio and garden.

The property enjoys beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. In total there are 3 bedrooms: a king en suite, double room and twin room. A family bathroom comes with a shower over bath.

Our property is in a fantastic position from which to explore the Isle of Purbeck. Whether you choose to do this by car, foot, bike or train is up to you! If you are looking for a leisurely day out, why not hop on the train at the quaint station in Harman's cross and take a trip to Swanage on the coast. Spend the day exploring this lovely seaside town, which is full of charm and nostalgia.

The historic stone village of Corfe Castle is less than 2 miles away and has a collection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as fascinating castle ruins which are now part of the National Trust, a visit to Corfe Castle would not be complete, without finding out the history of the castle and who blew it up! The Byres offers outstanding self-catering accommodation in the breathtaking Ettrick Valley. We are ideal for a peaceful holiday in a glorious location, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Scottish Borders

This wonderful property has been thoughtfully restored from a 19th Century farmstead to offer superb accommodation. The tastefully furnished cottage sleeps up to 16 people, great for an unforgettable country escape.

Inside there is a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/area to suit all your needs. The fully-equipped kitchen offers lots of appliances for cooking up a feast, including a cooker, large combination microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cutlery, pots and pans and cooking equipment. A central island comes with bar stools and the dining area has a large dining table and lots of seating.

Unwind in the cosy lounge which has a large flat screen television, comfy seating and a large pool table (plus table tennis and air hockey). Downstairs there is also a tranquil sitting room with a sofa bed, book and games.

The property is suitable for people with limited mobility and includes a ramp for wheelchairs, wide hallways, double doors and no steps on the ground floor, plus a downstairs bedroom with twin beds and a downstairs toilet and shower room with handrails. Upstairs there are 5 more bedrooms: 1 family and 4 double rooms. Two of the bedrooms come with en suite facilities and a shower room is also available.

A cot, high-chair and stair gates are available at no extra cost.

Three comfortable and well-equipped barn conversions, that feel like home from home. With a separate large dining room to seat 18. Perfect for gathering everyone around the table. Ideal venue for getting together with friends or celebrating family occasions. The cottages are grouped around an attractive, shared patio garden, with easy access for those guests with reduced mobility. Dove farm cottages specialise in short breaks for groups, as well as offering individual cottages.

Barn Owl Cottage:

This spacious 3 bedroom holiday cottage can sleep 7 plus children in a twin room, a family room and a triple bedroom. The living room has SKY TV, Wi-Fi, books, toys and DVDs. The kitchen is well equipped and opens out onto a shared patio area.

Swallow Cottage:

Swallow Cottage is the middle one of the 3 cottages and can accommodate 4 people in a double and twin bedroom. Dove Dining Studio:

The Dove dining studio is a versatile space when hired together with the 3 adjoining cottages at Dove Farm.

It works equally well as a dining room, a celebration space, a training room for workshops and a place to congregate for retreats. There is an entrance area, leading directly from the car park, a kitchenette and 2 x additional toilets.

The farm looks out onto open fields, leading down to the River Dove. There is a farm and riverside walk for the exclusive use of dove farm guests. There are other walks from the farm gate and an award-winning pub restaurant, just 5 mins walking distance. The river marks the border between Derbyshire and Staffordshire – with so much to see and do within easy travel of the holiday cottages. Alton Towers is only 4 miles away. Other attractions include Sudbury Hall and Museum of Childhood, Churnet Valley railway, Carsington Water, Chatsworth and Dovedale, Trentham Gardens and the National Memorial Arboretum.
