Bank End Farm, St Lawrence, Ventnor, Isle of Wight (Sleeps 1-8)


Bank End Farm is set in the heart of the Undercliff in St Lawrence, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farm provides several types of self catering accommodation including yurts which can sleep a maximum of 8 people. The holiday accommodation is to the west of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. This is the perfect venue for families or larger parties looking to book multiple lets.

Beachcombers - Sleeps 8
With its breathtaking coastal vistas, Beachcombers stands as our grandest barn conversion. The spacious barn has an open-plan dining room, from which a staircase leads up to a galleried landing. The landing branches off to reveal a relaxing & spacious living room. Beachcombers has been masterfully converted, artfully preserving much of its innate character. With equally stunning views of the coast from both the sitting room and the twin rooms, Beachcombers truly provides an unparalleled experience.

Lobster Pot - Sleeps 5
The beautifully restored stone barn is situated in a fantastic location on the south coast of the Island, just minutes from the sea and a short walk from Ventnor. The barn is one of three in a delightful open courtyard. Lobster Pot has been lovingly converted with many original features retained, including exposed beams. It is elegantly furnished and equipped to a high standard. The accommodation boasts a spacious living area with a dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one double and a twin, and a z-bed is available if needed, accommodating up to five people. Guests can enjoy the stunning sea views from the sitting room's French doors, which lead out to the patio.

Fisherman's Cottage - Sleeps 2
Fisherman's cottage was formerly a smokery for fishermen but has now been revamped into a cosy, self-catering haven for two with stunning sea views. The ground floor boasts an open plan design that extends into a conservatory that offers marvellous sea views. Ascending the stairs will take you to a picturesque double bedroom, again offering breathtaking sea views. This tranquil escape is perfect for couples yearning for a peaceful retreat. It also serves as an ideal base for those who are planning on taking walking or cycling holidays or simply just to unwind and enjoy a break.

Swifts - Sleeps 6
Swifts offers comfortable accommodation for up to six people. There are lovely sea views across the fields. There are three bedrooms - a double with en-suite bathroom and two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Outside there is a decked balcony area with garden furniture and BBQ.

Swallows - Sleeps 6
Swallows also sleeps six people in the same bedroom layout - a double with en-suite and two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. There is easy access to the coastal path from the cottage.

Moonlight & Stardust Yurts - Sleeping 4 in each
Our Yurts are furnished with a double bed, two single futons, and a wood-burning stove. All bedding and linen are included, as well as a variety of cooking utensils. Each Yurt features its own play area, BBQ, and gas stove, as well as separate bathrooms and kitchen spaces. The Yurts are available from the 1st of April until the 30th of September.

Communal Areas
There are plenty of communal areas to play including an indoor games barn with table tennis and table football, an outdoor play area with swings & a slide, a large play field with pitch and putt gold and football. Plus there is plenty of space to just run around and have fun.

Visiting St Lawrence & Exploring the Isle of Wight
St Lawrence has several interesting places to visit all within easy walking distance. The island also has a number of attractions most within a 30 minute drive of Bank End Farm. A welcome pack in each of the cottages gives up to date details of all local attractions.

Largy Coastal Apartments are in Carnlough on the Causeway Coastal Route in Co Antrim. We have a one bedroom on the ground floor and a 2 bedroom apartment on 1st and 2nd floors. Set in a half acre of garden and woodland, the apartments provide a relaxing base from which to explore the stunning coast and glens.

Ardclinis
Largy Coastal Apartments are in Carnlough on the Causeway Coastal Route in Co Antrim. We have 2 individually decorated apartments available. Set within a half acre of garden and woodland, the apartments providing a relaxing base from which to explore the Games of Throne sites, Giants Causeway, The Gobbins, The Titanic Centre and much more. The village of Carnlough is a short drive from Belfast, Larne, Ballymena. The two International Airports and ferry ports are also within easy reach.

Glenariff
This ground floor apartment has Disabled Category One Status for access. It can sleep up two people and is suitable for couples and a child. The master en suite can be set up as a twin beds or a king size bed (depending on requirements), the large en suite has a level deck shower. From the lounge/dining room there are wonderful sea views of the coastline and beautiful Carnlough Bay. The separate fully fitted kitchen includes everything you will need during your holiday.

Òran na Mara, Scarista, Isle of Harris, Western Isles (Sleeps 1-6)


Òran na Mara ("Song of the Sea" in English) is a contemporary property that provides luxurious self catering accommodation located in one of the world’s most beautiful locations on the Isle of Harris. This stunning property provides amazing views, perfect for an idyllic coastal getaway.

Accommodation:
This 5-star rated holiday home can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 stylish bedrooms.

This self catering house has an open plan living/kitchen/dining/snug area. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows look out in different directions - to the South is the village of Scarista and the valley revealing the islands in the Sound of Harris, to the West is the vast and beautiful Scarista beach and the majestic Toe Head, while to the North West is Taransay island and the stunning north Harris hills. The sunsets are visible from the house during most of the year, with the light creating constant and vivid colour changes in the sea and sky. The colours of the sea from Oran na Mara have to be seen to be believed!

Westland Farm, Kentisbury, Barnstaple, Devon (Sleeps 1-6)


Westland is a small working farm, 5 miles from the coast, in North Devon, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Enjoy a unique opportunity to escape the stress and strains of everyday life. We look forward to helping you relax and refresh during your holiday in the stunning, unspoilt surroundings of the countryside.

Mongolian Yurt:
Walk over the handmade oak bridge to the yurt, which is set privately at the bottom of the farm in our 3 acre field. Enjoy the lovely views of the surrounding North Devon countryside. Children can have fun running around the field and playing the stream.

The yurt is a great place for couples and families to relax and unwind, to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of country life. Enjoy a dip in the hot tub and look out for shooting stars, we are on the edge of the Exmoor dark sky reserve. On a clear night, the view of the stars is amazing!

Lit with candles and lamps and heated by a wood burning stove, the yurt has a double bed, a single and a 4ft futon. All bedding is supplied, you just need to bring towels (a torch and wellies are also a good idea.) Although let for four the yurt can sleep more comfortably. Extras are charged at a small fee per person per night.

During your stay, you will have exclusive access to your own wood fired hot tub and sauna. Sit back and unwind to enjoy the hot tub with a view, a great experience rain or shine.

Finish your evening drying off in the sauna and enjoy a glass of wine. The glass is tinted on the outside for privacy, however you can still enjoy the sight of the livestock grazing in the surrounding fields.

Use the fire pit to cook up your favourite BBQ treats, or sit around the fire to share stories whilst cooking marshmallows.

The Yurt has a private bathroom with a flushing loo and a hot shower. Kitchen bothy with everything you need to cook your meals, including pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and a gas hob. There is also a small Belfast sink for washing up.

Thinking of having a party, reunion or family get together? You can hire the yurt and the whole field and facilities for your party for a very reasonable price.

Shepherds Hut:
Our handmade shepherd's hut is ideal for an unforgettable break in the countryside. The views from the stable door toward Wistlandpound Reservoir are truly breath-taking.


Outside the hut you will have your own fenced garden with a private fire pit, picnic bench and hot tub.

Inside there is a comfortable king-size bed and a child’s bunk above the memory foam mattresses. The kitchen area comes with a range of appliances: a Belfast sink with hot and cold running water, double gas hob, pretty china crockery, kitchen and cooking utensils.

Stay warm and toasty in front of the wood burning stove, sit outside and enjoy seeing the livestock grazing in the surrounding fields, or relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine.

Drovers Hut:
This ex-army ammunitions trailer has been beautifully renovated to offer luxurious accommodation. The hut sleeps up to 5 people in a king size bed, single bunks and a trestle bed with pull out from under the main king size bed. All beds have memory foam mattresses. The superb country kitchen has a Belfast sink, solid oak worktop, dresser top, two-burner gas hob, a table and benches and a wonderful wood burning range stove with oven and hobs.

The drovers hut is set in a lovely peaceful corner of the field, with a decking area which has two gates to secure it for dogs or children. You will have your own outdoor seating, outdoor seating and private wood fired hot tub. Adjacent to the hut you will have your own bathroom with a toilet and shower.

There is access, via a style to a wild garden with the stream running through it. Perfect for, just sitting quietly with nature, exploring, bear hunts or searching for fairies!

Visiting Kentisbury & exploring Devon:
We are a geocaching hot spot and you can visit a range of excellent attractions in the local area. Wistlandpound Reservoir has been carefully developed into a countryside site with wheelchair and pushchair accessible trails, activity equipment and sensory-stimulating interpretation facilities. These enable people of all abilities to discover and enjoy Wistlandpound.

There are a variety of attractions in the local area, such as:

The Big Sheep
Arlington Court
South West Coastal Path
Woody Bay
Youlston Park
Combe Martin Wildlife and Animal Park
North Devon Wake Park

There are many beaches within easy reach from the farm. Some are brilliant for long walks, some are dog friendly, some have great surf, others have great rock pools, and some are rather secret and difficult to find, which are great for those who love exploring.

There are many good pubs around the area that serve lovely, locally produced food. We advise that you pre book your table to avoid disappointment.

We have a small supply of home produced burgers, sausages, steaks, chops and bacon for sale. All our beef and lamb is grass fed. Our beef, pork and lamb have a total of 10 food miles.

All of our accommodation has its own private hot tub, to enjoy and evening under the stars, a great way to relax and unwind. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm, for a well earnt break and tranquillity of country life.

About Clashmore Holiday Cottages:
Available to all three-holiday cottages are a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Each holiday cottage is fully equipped and includes a television, DVD and CD player, hoover, microwave, iron, duvets, linen and towels. A child’s cot is also available. The holiday cottages are amply supplied with electric heaters, and storage heating is available in the winter months. Car parking is provided at each cottage.

The Byre sleeps 2 and is situated in an excellent location overlooking the Loch and out towards the waters of the Minch, The Byre is the place to stay if you just want to be alone with the person you love. It has a modern kitchen/dining room/lounge; bath and shower room, a double-bedded room.

Visiting Assynt & Exploring Sutherland:
There are shops, petrol, restaurants and a bank in Lochinver - nine miles away. Fishing is available on your doorstep, with a boat for hire, on Loch na Claise.

Our traditional cottages have been modernised by us and are comfortable and well-equipped. Assynt is an ideal location if you are coming to explore the breathtaking North Coast 500, to pursue one of the many available outdoor activities or simply coming to this stunning location for rest and tranquillity.

Pier Cottage, Castlecove, Caherdaniel, Co Kerry (Sleeps 1-11)


Pier Cottage can be rented throughout the year as 2 self-contained units, or as one inter-connecting cottage sleeping up to 11. This pair of 17th-Century stone coastguard cottages have been renovated to a high standard in a unique setting. They are only 25 yards from its own shingle beach, with breathtaking views over the Kenmare estuary off the southern tip of the beautiful Ring of Kerry.

West End - sleeps up to 7 in 3 bedrooms:
Ground floor: Sitting room with wood burning stove, storage heater, TV, DVD & comfortable seating for 7. Open plan kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a round table which seats up to 8. One twin bedroom. Bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, loo, basin and heated towel rail. Cloakroom with loo & hand basin. Utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

Upstairs: One double bedroom with basin and one bedroom with 3 single beds and en-suite shower room with power shower, basin, loo and hot towel rail.

East End - sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms:
Ground floor: A spacious open-plan living room with open fire, storage heater, TV & DVD, a dining area which seats 6 and a kitchen corner with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine, tumble dryer and sink are in the adjacent 'lean-to'.

Upstairs: 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with electric shower over bath, loo, hand basin and heated towel rail.

There are electric wall heaters fitted in every room. A cot and high chair can be provided for both cottages. Domestic help and babysitting are available by arrangement. Electricity, bedding, towels and Wi-Fi are included in the price.

Outside: A barbecue, outdoor seating and picnic tables are provided for each cottage. A rowing boat is available for tenants to use at their own risk, life jackets are provided.

Visiting Castlecove & Exploring Co Kerry:
Pier Cottage is in a magical location, just relax and watch the seals playing in the harbour or explore this fascinating part of Ireland with so much to see and do for all ages.

A car is essential in this area as there is no public transport.

Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Dogs are usually welcome - please enquire at time of booking - but not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.

Granary Cottage near Llandrindod Wells offers wonderful self-catering accommodation in a tranquil courtyard at Ty Gwyn Farm. Our cottage in Powys is surrounded by 130 acres of grounds in a gorgeous countryside setting, perfect for a tranquil and relaxing getaway.

Accommodation:
Our charming cottage is reached via a lane, offering pure peace and quiet, your very own slice of heaven. The property is secluded, with no other houses nearby, making us a great break for a family looking to escape the pressures of modern life.

The tastefully furnished cottage has been beautifully converted to a high standard, whilst still retaining its original character and charm. The cottage seamlessly blends old with new to provide comfortable accommodation. A lovely light-filled sitting room is perfect for relaxing in after a day in the countryside and includes a sofa, armchairs, TV with Freeview, a DVD player, CD player/radio, books and games. A large window takes advantage of the stunning views over the hills of Mid Wales.

A spacious kitchen/dining room is great for cooking up a storm and includes an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a good range of attractive crockery, glass, cutlery and cooking pans and utensils. Enjoy some fantastic food around the pine dining table.

Two bedrooms are available: a double and a twin. The double room is on the ground floor and includes a walk-in shower and bath. The twin is upstairs and has an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower attachment.

Outside there is a small terrace with gets the best of the morning sun. A separate lawned garden comes with a table and chairs, ideal for a glass of wine whilst admiring the breathtaking views. Scenic footpaths lead directly off our land. You are welcome to wander around the farm and soak in the rural atmosphere.

Visiting Llandrindod Wells & Exploring Powys:
This picturesque Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells is only 2.5 miles away and home to stunning buildings that surround Temple Gardens. You can visit local food shops, a Victorian theatre, gift shops, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. A magnificent 13-acre lake boasts a dragon fountain and pedalos. A lovely walk around the lake can finish at the boathouse café. Great attractions to visit include:

Dartmouth Harbour Heights offers outstanding self-catering accommodation in Dartmouth, nestled in a truly spectacular location. We boast amazing river and sea views, perfect for a magical getaway in Devon.

Accommodation:
Our coastal property is perfect for a special stay in a truly idyllic location. Our upside-down house enjoys glorious sea and river views from all the rooms, apart from Crow's Nest which overlooks the woodland.

The house is beautifully furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing and tranquil stay. The top/ground floor level has a spacious open plan living space with a snug area including a sofa and TV/DVD player with Netflix. You can also unwind in the cosy lounge that includes comfy seating and a smart TV. Patio doors open onto a balcony area with garden furniture, offering a great spot for a glass of bubbly whilst savouring the views. Inside there is also a lovely dining area with seating for up to 14 people.

Rustle up some delicious food in the recently refurbished kitchen that includes granite worktops, a breakfast bar, electric oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave/2nd oven, double sink with waster disposer and fridge freezer. A quarterdeck bedroom comes with a king/twin bed and 2 single beds. The 2nd bedroom has French doors that take advantage of the breathtaking views. The Crow’s Nest bedroom has a king/twin bed with a shower room that forms a self-contained area. A further shower room and cloakroom are also available.

On the lower floor, there is the fabulous flagship bedroom/en suite and conservatory. This is our largest bedroom, offering a lavish suite to enjoy and offering outstanding river and sea views. The suite comes with a king bed, 2 single beds, a dressing room, a conservatory and a large walk-in shower. We also have the Clipper Bedroom and the Spinnaker Bedroom. The former comes with a king/twin bed and the latter has king/twin beds as well. A further bathroom has a luxury walk-in shower and the Anchorage Bedroom includes a king/twin room.

Outside there is a large terraced mature garden, offering a lovely spot to unwind in the afternoon sun.
