Calvert Chalets

These four-star Scandinavian-style chalets are spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a memorable holiday.

Five specially designed accessible chalets are located near the main centre building and feature one double and two twin bedrooms, sleeping up to six guests. The hillside chalets can accommodate up to seven guests with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a third bedroom containing a single bed and bunk beds.

The self-catering accommodation offers peace, seclusion and glorious views of the Upper Tanat Valley & Berwyn Mountains. Yet it is only 2 miles from the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochant with shops, pubs, PO etc. The spectacular 240 ft Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall - one of the seven wonders of Wales is just 15 minutes drive away.

Ty Coed is fully equipped including a full-size electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and television.

The open-plan living room has French windows leading onto the verandah and has magnificent views of the far side of the valley. It is tastefully furnished in keeping with the pine panelling.

The kitchen in the self-catering chalet is fully fitted with ample storage and cooking facilities and also has a door leading onto the verandah. The inner hallway leads to the two bedrooms and shower room. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table etc.

There is a garden area around the chalet with garden furniture and a BBQ. There is also ample parking for two cars next to the chalet.

The storeroom has a washing machine and drier for the use of the guests. This store can also be used for storing bikes, golf clubs etc.

There are facilities here to hang and store wet outer clothing and shoes and we would ask our guests to do so rather than take them in the chalet.
