Accommodation

Our cosy cabin sleeps up to 6 people and boasts stunning views of the neighbouring crofts and across the seashore to the west coast of Lewis and beyond to the mountains of the Isle of Harris.

Inside there is a relaxing open plan living room with a TV and comfy seating, with a picture window taking advantage of the view. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a full sized cooker with a hob, fridge with frozen food compartment, auto washer, microwave and all the crocks, pots, pans and implements.

Two attractive bedrooms are available, plus a family size shower room. All towels and linen are provided, plus a welcome pack.

The cottage comes with an open-plan kitchen/living area with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area is perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the local area.

Bedrooms consist of 1 double room and a room with a double and two singles. A cot and high chair can also be provided. A three-wheeler pram is also available on request. The property comes with a fitted stairgate.

The location is ideal for exploring the stunning Moray Firth area: from Dolphin watching in Culloden to admiring the beauty of Loch Ness. Ty Coed is an attractive timber chalet fully insulated and double-glazed, set on the grounds of the proprietor's property in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Powys.

The self-catering accommodation offers peace, seclusion and glorious views of the Upper Tanat Valley & Berwyn Mountains. Yet it is only 2 miles from the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochant with shops, pubs, PO etc. The spectacular 240 ft Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall - one of the seven wonders of Wales is just 15 minutes drive away.

Ty Coed is fully equipped including a full-size electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and television.

The open-plan living room has French windows leading onto the verandah and has magnificent views of the far side of the valley. It is tastefully furnished in keeping with the pine panelling.

The kitchen in the self-catering chalet is fully fitted with ample storage and cooking facilities and also has a door leading onto the verandah. The inner hallway leads to the two bedrooms and shower room. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table etc.

There is a garden area around the chalet with garden furniture and a BBQ. There is also ample parking for two cars next to the chalet.

The storeroom has a washing machine and drier for the use of the guests. This store can also be used for storing bikes, golf clubs etc.

There are facilities here to hang and store wet outer clothing and shoes and we would ask our guests to do so rather than take them in the chalet.

This undiscovered area offers walking, bird watching, canoeing, sailing and much more for the energetic.

Mount Hawke Holiday Bungalows offer self catering accommodation situated at Mount Hawke just a short distance from the bustling Cornish city of Truro. This family owned site is set in wonderful tranquil surroundings, yet ideally placed for exploring everything Cornwall has to offer.

The Chalets:

The accommodation in the bungalows consists of lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. The small bungalows, sleeping up to four, have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The large bungalows, to sleep up to six, have two bedrooms similarly furnished and a sofa bed in the lounge. All the bungalows have fully fitted bathrooms with W.C., wash hand basin and bath with electric shower. They are all fully equipped with new televisions with digital Freeview and DVD player, convector heaters, electric cooker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, electric kettle, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided.

Prince Croft Cott:

The accommodation comprises two bedrooms, one double and two singles, therefore, sleeping a maximum of four. The lounge/diner with TV, DVD and digital Freeview is furnished to a high standard with your comfort in mind and with French doors opening on to the patio and small garden where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. The modern bathroom has both bath and shower.

The Annex:

This charming one bedroom annex is attached to the owner’s bungalow and comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Inside there is a cosy living room with a TV and dining table, double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and shower/toilet. Unwind on the delightful patio over a spot of al fresco dining.

Mount Hawke is located on the spectacular North Cornish Atlantic Coastline which is an area of "Outstanding Natural Beauty". The village has various amenities for your everyday needs including a pub/restaurant. We are 500 metres down a private lane from the village, which makes this a very safe area for children away from any traffic. The popular resort of Porthtowan with its beautiful sandy beach is only a few minutes drive as is the quaint resort of St. Agnes.

A public footpath adjoining the fields leads to cliff and country walks. You can join the North Cornwall Coastal Path at Porthtowan and Chapel Porth beaches, both 1¼ miles distant. You are invited to walk or picnic in the private fields and woodland at any time to enjoy the peaceful countryside.

Cedar Lodge

This lavish lodge is perfect for an unforgettable getaway and sleeps 6 in a twin room and king room, plus 2 more in an additional bed in the secondary living area. The upstairs shower room features a beautiful Aspen Sauna and outside the covered veranda offers breathtaking views.

Spey Lodge

Our stylish lodge sleeps 6 in two twin rooms and a super king en suite bathroom. The main bathroom benefits from a Finnish sauna and walk in rain shower as well as stone-topped vanity area.

Craigellachie House

This majestic property forms the main part of the Victorian hunting lodge and sleeps 8 in super king bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. There is a large family bathroom upstairs with a walk-in rain shower and a separate free-standing roll top bath, as well as a Finnish Sauna with a luxury wet-room shower and colour change lighting for a spa-like experience.

Onsite there is a wonderful new gym and fitness facility. There is also a children’s play park wings, climbing frame and a slide, whilst table tennis is available on the main loo. Mountain bikes for hire on site as well as nearby.

This part of the country has an abundance of natural beauty to enjoy. Hike around the Cairngorm Mountains and savour the breathtaking views or head to Rothiemurchus Estate which hosts quad bike trekking, Land Rover tours, off-road driving experiences and clay pigeon shooting.
