Accommodation

The apartments are self-contained, tastefully furnished and come with everything you need for a relaxing getaway: linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment, flat screen TV with Freeview and use of laundry service. All the apartments are linked to 3 star hotel .

Second floor one bed apartment that does have an adjoining room available to sleep 4 in St Mary’s apartment if needed, bath with shower over.

Onsite Facilities

Guests are welcome to use the fantastic facilities onsite, including spa facilities, available to use free of charge all day on Saturday and 4pm to 10pm the rest of the week. You can also book a massage or yoga session. The onsite salon also boasts a variety of massage and beauty treatments to feel re-energised.

Visiting Bootham & Exploring North Yorkshire

The self catering apartments are located close to the city centre and within easy reach of the rail network. The city itself boasts the magnificent Minster, the National Railway Museum, Castle Museum and Jorvik Viking Centre. Evening entertainment is provided by three theatres, ghost walks and cinemas, making York an all-year-round tourist destination.

Windermere House, Ealing, London (Sleeps 1-7)

Windermere House offers superb self-catering accommodation for seven people in a quiet tree-lined residential street in Ealing, West London. We offer longer terms stays as well, so if you are needed someone to stay for a couple of months due to home renovations Windemere offers this. The house is close to the tube and has great access to Heathrow.

Our gorgeous property has been recently renovated and offers stylish accommodation, blending antique/vintage with modern touches. We are a great destination for a family looking for somewhere special to stay.

The hallway leads to the inviting and comfortable sitting room with two sofas, a fireplace and digital TV with multi-channels and a built-in DVD player. Through an archway to the spacious open plan kitchen/diner with fireplace and antique dining table accommodating up to six people (up to eight people when the table is extended). There are two easy chairs here to sit and enjoy the view of the sunny south-facing rear garden.

The very well-equipped and modern kitchen has an American-style fridge/freezer with cold water and ice on demand and all the appliances you would expect to find in a first-class holiday home. French doors from both the dining area and kitchen lead to the pretty rear garden. For added convenience, there is also a downstairs WC tucked neatly under the stairs.

On the first floor and overlooking the front of the house is the large master bedroom featuring a contemporary button-back king-size bed and built-in wardrobe space, an original tiled fireplace and an antique mahogany chest of drawers and mirror. The main bathroom has a bathtub and overhead shower, basin and WC and is tiled in white and black accents. Next to the bathroom is the second double bedroom which is a lovely peaceful room overlooking the back garden and offers a double bed, closet and chest of drawers. In addition, there is a sweet little single bedroom at the front of the house with an antique Victorian bed.

The second floor has recently been converted and furnished again to a very high standard, offering a large double bedroom or extra sitting/living room space. There is a new and very comfortable sofa bed in which to relax and watch the flat-screen TV or enjoy views overlooking rooftops and the garden. There is a contemporary en suite bathroom with a fabulous walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The Windermere House is ideally situated for easy access to all of London’s attractions and Ealing Broadway, with its many shops and restaurants, is just a short walk through Lammas and Walpole parks or a five-minute bus ride away. There is an excellent range of shopping in the local Northfields, West Ealing and South Ealing area for fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish. There is also a terrific bakery, great butchers and a variety of cafes, restaurants, wine bars and pubs within walking distance. The famous Ealing Studio is nearby and you can visit lots of events in the area.

This allows you to make the most of the views out across private gardens and the beautiful Midford Valley. We are surrounded by wildlife, walks and cycle routes – perfect for those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. You may also be surprised to know that the cottage is just a 12-minute drive from Bath city centre, offering the perfect balance of both a city and country holiday.

The cottage has a spacious open plan living room with two inviting sofas. They surround an electric wood burning stove and provide a relaxing place to rest at any time of day. The dining area can seat six and the kitchen is fully equipped. On the same level is a beautifully appointed master bedroom with a luxury 1200 pocket sprung king-sized bed.

Outside is a private south-facing terrace with BBQ and table/chairs. From here you can enjoy the views that overlook the tranquil Midford Valley where local wildlife, including deer and barn owls, can be seen.
