Our self-catering accommodation is situated in one of the most desirable areas of Greater Manchester in the delightful mature surroundings of Didsbury St James' conservation area, close to parks and the Mersey Valley nature area, yet only 4.5 miles from the city centre.

We have three different property types available: studio apartments, one beds and two beds.

Located midway (about 5 minutes walk) between the village, shops and East Didsbury Railway Station (trains to the city centre about 15 mins). Easy access to the national motorway network and Manchester Airport.

York City Apartments offer beautiful self-catering accommodation in York. The  two stylish apartments are less than a mile from the centre of York and ideal for couples, families or business guests.

The apartments have a modern feel and both accommodate up to 4 guests. They benefit from well-equipped kitchens, a flat-screen TV, DVD player, radio CD players and an iPod docking station. For quieter times, there are books, toys and games for children and adults

Merchants Gate is a 2nd-floor apartment which is cosy and comfortable. It has a separate lounge and kitchen/diner with a large bathroom. An allocated parking space is provided within a courtyard area. The lounge contains two comfortable sofas and has wonderful city skyline views. Views of York Minister from the bay window can be enjoyed. The dining table seats up to 4. The apartment has a large double bedroom & a twin bedroom.

The Tannery is a set over the 2nd and 3rd floor and has lots of character. Inside there is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area on the lower floor. The apartment is well equipped with everything you may need during your stay. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room and the twin bedroom has a matching metal bed. The downstairs bathroom has a bath, heated towel rail and an electric shaver point.

The apartments are both within a 10-minute walk from the centre of York. You can visit many award-winning attractions such as The Minster, The Shambles, Clifford Tower, The Jorvic Centre, The National Railway Museum, The City Sight Tour and The River Tour. York is host to a great variety of shops and restaurants.

Further afield are the North York Moors and 'Heartbeat' Country, Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Dales, Castle Howard, Fountains Abbey and Harewood House.

Lund Farm Cottages, Gateforth, Selby, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-6)

Lund Farm is a peaceful haven for either your holiday or business visit. Set on 200 peaceful acres, there is a choice of two beautifully renovated farmyard cottages (sleeping 6 and 2), and the owners are personally on hand to give you plenty of informed advice to help you to make the most of your stay.

You will find a safe patio, lawn and paddock with sandpit, slide and garden games for families with children, a sunny patio with the smaller cottage, and bicycles for all ages to ride around the farm if you want to stretch your legs.

For the business visitor there's a friendly welcome, peace and quiet, and internet access, and don't worry, stroking the cats is strictly optional!

Lund Farm Cottage is the three-bedroomed, self-contained 18th Century wing of the farmhouse. The centrepiece is the original black kitchen range set in a feature brick wall in the pine beamed lounge area. It’s lovely for fires on winter evenings. Upstairs is a large double room with en suite bathroom, and the original two-level farmhouse bathroom provides the en suite bath and shower room for a further suite of two twin rooms.

Outside there is a sizeable, enclosed private patio and lawn to the rear with a sandpit, slide, garden games. It is fully equipped for 6 people, including children of any age. 

Shepherd's Rest was created by the sympathetic renovation of a small farm building close to the farmhouse. This cottage is ideal for that cosy retreat for two, for the business traveller preferring independence and for those who cannot get about so well. It has an accessibility rating and is wheelchair friendly. The pine-beamed kitchen and living area boast an old-style Belfast sink & a black cast-iron wood-burning stove. The beds in the spacious twin room link to form a “super-king-size” double.

Shepherd's Rest has a quiet and sunny south facing patio, with access to the farm paddock and adjoining orchard.
