Our fabulous house is ideal for Metropolitan types seeking an idyllic weekend escape, offering high-quality facilities in a tranquil location yet within each reach of London.

The house is perfect for groups of friends or extended families, plus those with limited mobility as there are open plan areas and bedrooms on the ground floor. The house offers lots of space for peace and relaxation, including French doors which open onto a balcony area with seating, offering a great spot for a coffee whilst savouring the sea views. Inside there are two spacious living areas, including one upstairs chic living area with a lavish sofa and log burner, plus a downstairs living room with a gas fire. We also have a separate downstairs study/TV room that offers a cosy place to watch a movie. With lots of areas to unwind in, we are great for muti-generational gatherings looking for space to be with everyone or in their own space.

4/5 wonderful bedrooms are available, furnished with luxury bed linen and offering a modern seaside style throughout. On the ground floor are 2 euro-king size rooms. Both rooms have en suite facilities. The top floor has a king room and family bathroom, plus a twin room that offers garden and bay views. A fold-down bed in the ground floor study/den can be made as a 5th bedroom.

Excellent facilities include: an electric oven, microwave, gas hob, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, toaster and Nespresso machine can be found in the kitchen, plus a TV with iPlayer etc in the living room and downstairs study/den. A toasty log burner is also available in the upstairs lounge.

Outside there is a sunny patio or wrap-around balcony to unwind on. Facilities include outdoor seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

Visiting Whitstable & Exploring Kent

We are in a brilliant location for exploring the area. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away and the town centre is just a short stroll away. Enjoy a scenic walk on the Saxon Shore Sea path whilst admiring the amazing scenery. You can also enjoy a lovely cycle ride along the coast or head into Canterbury via the disused railway lane. Windermere House, Ealing, London (Sleeps 1-7)

Windermere House offers superb self-catering accommodation for seven people in a quiet tree-lined residential street in Ealing, West London. We offer longer terms stays as well, so if you are needed someone to stay for a couple of months due to home renovations Windemere offers this. The house is close to the tube and has great access to Heathrow.

Our gorgeous property has been recently renovated and offers stylish accommodation, blending antique/vintage with modern touches. We are a great destination for a family looking for somewhere special to stay.

The hallway leads to the inviting and comfortable sitting room with two sofas, a fireplace and digital TV with multi-channels and a built-in DVD player. Through an archway to the spacious open plan kitchen/diner with fireplace and antique dining table accommodating up to six people (up to eight people when the table is extended). There are two easy chairs here to sit and enjoy the view of the sunny south-facing rear garden.

The very well-equipped and modern kitchen has an American-style fridge/freezer with cold water and ice on demand and all the appliances you would expect to find in a first-class holiday home. French doors from both the dining area and kitchen lead to the pretty rear garden. For added convenience, there is also a downstairs WC tucked neatly under the stairs.

On the first floor and overlooking the front of the house is the large master bedroom featuring a contemporary button-back king-size bed and built-in wardrobe space, an original tiled fireplace and an antique mahogany chest of drawers and mirror. The main bathroom has a bathtub and overhead shower, basin and WC and is tiled in white and black accents. Next to the bathroom is the second double bedroom which is a lovely peaceful room overlooking the back garden and offers a double bed, closet and chest of drawers. In addition, there is a sweet little single bedroom at the front of the house with an antique Victorian bed.

The second floor has recently been converted and furnished again to a very high standard, offering a large double bedroom or extra sitting/living room space. There is a new and very comfortable sofa bed in which to relax and watch the flat-screen TV or enjoy views overlooking rooftops and the garden. There is a contemporary en suite bathroom with a fabulous walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The Windermere House is ideally situated for easy access to all of London’s attractions and Ealing Broadway, with its many shops and restaurants, is just a short walk through Lammas and Walpole parks or a five-minute bus ride away. There is an excellent range of shopping in the local Northfields, West Ealing and South Ealing area for fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish. There is also a terrific bakery, great butchers and a variety of cafes, restaurants, wine bars and pubs within walking distance. The famous Ealing Studio is nearby and you can visit lots of events in the area.

Our stunning three bedroom house was originally where the Victorians housed their horses and carriages, at the other end of the garden, just away from the large terraced houses. The property now offers high-quality accommodation to suit all your needs.

Our beautifully furnished property comes with comfy sofas, a 55’’ flat screen TV with Satellite/Cable TV and a DVD player. There is also a full library in the study to enjoy. Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Park, Kew Gardens, Chessington World of Adventure and Wimbledon with its shops, village, common, windmill, Tennis courts and museum are close by. Raynes Park is on the borders of outer London and Surrey with its beautiful countryside. The easily accessed motorway routes open the opportunities for sightseeing further. Windsor Castle, Thorpe Park (a theme park, a delight for the young) and Brighton all offer a day's outing. The Channel Tunnel is an hour and a half away by motorway, so a visit to France can make a pleasant day out.
