Red Linhay Holiday Cottage offers wonderful self-catering accommodation at Black Moor Gate, nestled in 60 acres of glorious countryside on Hollacombe Farm. 

We are a haven for country lovers looking for a tranquil getaway. Stroll around the magical woodland inhabited by wild deer or visit the scenic streams and river. We are also a great destination for walkers, with lots of brilliant walks surrounding us.

Our cosy cottage sleeps 4 people and boasts stunning views over Exmoor. The cottage has been beautifully furnished and features a delightful open plan living area with a wood burner for the winter months. You can open the elegant French doors to blend outdoor and indoor living seamlessly. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy some culinary delights around the dining table which sleeps 4.

We have two lovely bedrooms available. Both rooms offer breathtaking countryside views and include en suite facilities. 

Outside a spacious, grassed garden includes a picnic table and a BBQ, great for al fresco dining whilst admiring the gorgeous views. We also have a children’s play area.

Onsite we provide stabling/grazing, offering you the opportunity to bring your own horse for an unforgettable horse-riding holiday. The farm also has lots of routes to take your horse on.

We are in a fantastic position for discovering Exmoor and the amazing north Devon coast. Nearby are the renowned beaches around Croyde Bay. Wonderful beaches can be enjoyed on the north and west side of the North Devon coast, whilst walkers can enjoy the abundance of routes on the coasts, moorland and woodland.

Calluna Self Catering is a group of self-catering holiday homes in the Highland town of Fort William. We have 4 self-catering apartments available which are great for a small family or large group of friends looking to discover the Scottish Highlands.

Flat - The ground floor flat can sleep 6 people in 2 bedrooms; a twin (or double) and 2 bunk beds. The living space leads to the garden.

Alpine Loft is a small apartment with sleeping space for 4 people, 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There is an open plan kitchen/dining and living area.

Apartment 1 & 2 can both sleep 7 people in 3 bedrooms, a twin (or double), single bunk and triple. In both of these apartments, there is also a comfy living area leading to a decked area in the garden and a fully equipped kitchen.

Fort William and the surrounding Scottish Highlands are great places to visit if you are looking for adventure. The centre of Fort William has a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and bars to visit and being located within the Highlands means that there are some fantastic walks or hikes only a short drive away.

Star Farm, Hazelbury Bryan, Sturminster Newton, Dorset (Sleeps 1-2)

Set in the heart of the Blackmore Vale in rural North Dorset, Star Farm cottage is a spacious, luxury one-bedroom cottage furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard.

The holiday cottage benefits from a large open plan sitting/dining room with glazed French doors opening onto a generously sized private decked area with fantastic uninterrupted views over farmland.

The bedroom upstairs is luxurious yet maintains the character of the original barn with oak floors, calm décor and delightful rural views through the shuttered window. 

The fully tiled bathroom is a particular luxury feature of the cottage enjoying a large walk-in shower/wet room with underfloor heating. Large luxury towels are provided along with a range of quality toiletries.

The cottage is approached by its own private drive and has ample, safe parking.

Facing west, the deck looks out over the farm to the hills beyond and is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine on a summer's evening. A garden table and chairs and parasol are provided along with two recliners for those sunny days. 

The property is quietly situated on the outskirts of the village of Hazelbury Bryan, and is surrounded by what is undoubtedly some of England's prettiest countryside. It is close to a number of excellent pubs and is within 45 minutes drive of the Dorset coast giving excellent access to Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, Swanage etc.

Woodcombe Lodges, Minehead, Exmoor, Somerset (Sleeps 1-10)

Woodcombe Lodges offer two self-catering cottages and six lodges with a four-star rating, situated in Minehead in rural Somerset. These holiday cottages are based on the boundary of the Exmoor National Park in a beautiful three-acre garden, with outstanding views over the wooded slopes of Exmoor. 

There are two stone holiday cottages and six timber lodges with fully fitted kitchens including fridge freezers, microwaves and some with dishwashers and washing machines; all have televisions and DVDs and heating throughout. Wi-Fi is available. Disabled access is provided in some lodges and we allow one dog in some lodges as well. We also have a superb games room with a full-size table tennis table, pool table and table football available for guests to use.

Minehead has Exmoor on its doorstep and the Quantocks within easy reach. This provides plenty of opportunities for getting out into the countryside are endless. The South West Coastal Path, The Coleridge Way, The Macmillan Way, the Exmoor Perambulation, The Samaritans Way all pass within striking distance. Those wishing to walk their dogs on the beach will find Minehead beach beyond the golf course, Dunster beach and Blue Anchor beach open to them throughout the year. Minehead beach is open in full in the winter months. There are a number of guides and books available to help you explore the fantastic scenery throughout this area.

Cairngeal is a cosy self-catering cabin with sea views on the Waternish coast. It is set on a working croft in a very peaceful area along a single track road by the sea.

This quaint cabin can accommodate 2 people in a double bed on the mezzanine. The rest of the accommodation consists of a living room, fully fitted kitchen and shower room.

Marden Down Holiday Cottages, West Marden, Chichester, West Sussex (Sleeps 1-4)

Marden Down Holiday Cottages offer outstanding self-catering accommodation in 2 well-equipped cottages. Located near Chichester and boasting stunning views, we are the perfect holiday destination.

The Stable Annexe sleeps up to 4 people and has been thoughtfully decorated over 2 floors. There is also a delightful walled patio with seating that overlooks our pony paddock and the South Downs. On the ground floor, there is a delightful open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. A beautifully appointed lounge conservatory with a glass roof and full height windows overlook the patio. Bedroom 1 includes a double bed and bedroom 2 includes 2 single beds. Both rooms share a bathroom which has a bath with a shower over.

Gardener’s Cottage was originally built as gardener’s accommodation by Lord Durham who owned and lived in the manor house next door. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has a pretty south-facing garden to unwind in. Downstairs there is a delightful solid oak kitchen & a bright south-facing lounge that narrows to the dining area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds and bedroom 2 has a double bed. There are fabulous views over our paddock, fields and the rolling Downs. The bathroom is fully tiled with a bath and power shower.

There is a huge network of footpaths and bridleways running from the property, and the area abounds with wildlife. We regularly see deer, foxes, badgers and buzzards from the garden, and you might just meet the village peacocks. The village pub serves a range of beers and excellent food (we can vouch for this!) and is only a short walk away. A small shop and post office, playground/tennis court and the church can be found in Compton, less than a mile up the road.

Petrol and diesel sales are available locally through a self-service pump.
