Flagstone Farm Holiday Cottages, Condicote, Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire, Cotswolds (Sleeps 1-18)

Flagstone Farm Holiday Cottages are converted Cotswold stone barns that provide self-catering accommodation set on stunning 12 acres of fields and woodland. These self-catering cottages are in a quiet setting just outside the small village of Condicote which is near Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire. The 5-holiday cottages sleep between 2 and 18 people. Each has a private terrace area with hardwood garden furniture and a barbecue.

Broadway:

This large holiday barn can accommodate 16 people in 7 bedrooms which consist of 2 four poster rooms, 2 doubles and 3 twin rooms. There are 2 kitchens, a large dining room and living room. Outside there is a garden and patio area.

Stanton:

This spacious 2-storey property has 6 bedrooms which consist of 2 four poster rooms, a double bedroom and 3 twins. The living space is open plan and very spacious. There is also a well-equipped kitchen. Outside you will find a patio and garden area.

Stanway House:

This large property accommodates up to 18 people in 8 bedrooms. There are 2 kitchens, dining room and living room. Outside there is a patio area and garden.

Clematis:

Our delightful cottage sleeps up to 2 people and comes with exposed beams and a toasty wood burner for the winter months. This is the ideal retreat for a romantic getaway.

Stone Barn:

This modern barn conversion boasts a fabulous open-plan living space to unwind in. The barn sleeps 6 adults and 3 children in four bedrooms and four bathrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. Inside there is a lovely sitting/dining/kitchen area for socialising in with family or friends.

This wonderful bungalow sleeps 4 – 6 people and comes with everything you need for a relaxing getaway near the coast. The bungalow is fully accessible, offering a range of excellent features throughout.

The double and twin beds are fully adjustable and an XY ceiling hoist runs from the master bedroom into the ensuite wet room. A second bathroom includes an accessible bath.

A fully-equipped kitchen is great for home-cooking, offering a modern height adjustable worktop with a tuck-away oven, accessible sink and storage and an island with seating. Relax and socialise in the cosy open plan living room which has a corner sofa (sofa bed) and a sitting to standing chair.

Homefield offers superb self catering accommodation in Grosmont. This disabled and wheelchair friendly cottage is the perfect base for exploring Monmouthshire.

The charming property sleeps up to 5 people and is extremely disabled friendly and comes with a removable hoist.

The new large farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with a variety of appliances: kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer and dishwasher. The living area is cosy, relaxing and comes with a raised settee, two armchairs, TV and DVD player. The conservatory is the perfect sun trap and comes with two chairs and a side table. The floor covering is non slip and comes with a wide door with hand rails which give access to the kitchen. A sliding patio door give access to the lounge. There is a ramp to the patio then level access into the conservatory and via a ramp into the kitchen. The moveable ramp allows access to the main bungalow via either doorway depending upon preference.

Three tastefully furnished bedrooms are available: a twin, double and garden bedroom. The luxurious en suite wet room is suitable for guests with limited mobility. There is a roll in shower with retractable shower screens, safety flooring and a high level WC. A separate family bathroom has a door which opens outwards, flat against the wall. This make it suitable for wheelchair access. The bath has a door to step in through and a seat which lowers electrically into the bath.

There is a gorgeous enclosed garden and patio area. The patio comes with garden furniture, a sun umbrella and BBQ. An ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining.

Homefield is able to offer a large range of specialist equipment for people with disabilities, such as a mobile hoist, commode on wheels, static commode, bed sides, folding wheelchairs, zimmer and other aids.

Grosmont Castle is part of a trio of neighbouring castles built by Hubert de Burgh in the early 13th Century. A wooden bridge leads across the deep moat and into the shell of the castle walls. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy walking around Graig Syfyrddin. The hill is perfect for admiring the scenic surroundings on a summer’s day.

You can relax and unwind in the cosy living room which boasts an original oak-beamed ceiling, a toasty wood burner in the original brick fireplace, comfortable seating and TV/DVD player. Logs are provided for the fire and French doors open onto a lovely patio with a garden table/chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining.

A well-equipped L-shaped kitchen area has a built-in fridge with a freezer box, single-drainer sink, electric touch-control ceramic hob and a combination fan oven/grill/microwave. The oak dining table has seating for 3 people.

A spacious double bedroom has two electric singles which can be made as singles or a super king bed. Facilities include a wall-mounted TV and there is a gap underneath the bed to fit a hoist. Additionally, an easy rail bed rail can be placed on one side of the bed. There is a single bedroom upstairs which has a TV/DVD player. Both rooms share a wet room with non-slip Altro Aquarius flooring. The wall-mounted shower seat can be folded away and the washbasin is at a height suitable for wheelchair users. Either side of the toilet there are grab rails.

You can enjoy some great food and good drink at The Bear Inn, or a range of restaurants in the area, including the Michelin-star restaurant Docket no. 33 in nearby Whitchurch. Head to the famous Hodnet Hall Gardens and see its stunning gardens and lakes. They also have a lovely tearoom to enjoy.

We are in a great position for exploring the Scottish Borders, including the East Berwickshire coast and the magical villages of Coldingham and St Abbs.

Merchants House is great for families, friends, special birthdays and anniversaries. The house is nestled in an enviable position, boasting stunning views of the harbour and coastline.

The house has a spacious open plan living/dining area and a well-equipped kitchen on the first floor. On this floor, there is also a bedroom with a magnificent four-poster bed and a wet room bathroom. This floor can be accessed by a lift and there is a wet room accessible for disabled guests.

Stairs lead to the second floor where are there 2 double bedrooms (one with en suite facilities), a twin and triple room with a built-in box bed suitable for an adult or child. A large family bathroom comes with an opulent free-standing roll-top bath. 

Each floor enjoys breathtaking views across Eyemouth town, harbour and out to the sea. Guests are welcome to relax in the lawned area to the front of the house and there is also a picnic table in the side garden.

Eyemouth town centre is only a pretty 10-minute walk across the harbour. You can take a scenic boat with Eyemouth Rib Trips or play a round or two at Eyemouth Golf Club.
