Elworth Farmhouse Cottage offers superb self-catering accommodation in the ancient farming hamlet of Elworth. We are close to the historic village of Abbotsbury and perfect for a tranquil break in Dorset.

Our 17th Century Grade II Listed farmhouse Cottage sleeps 2, ideal for a romantic getaway. You also have use of a private swimming pool, spa hot tub, patio, barbecue, garden furniture and large garden.

Our charming cottage is brimming with character, offering lovely oak beams and a feature inglenook log effect fire. Rustle up some delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen which has a Nespresso coffee machine (capsules provided) microwave, electric cooker with ceramic hob, large fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Unwind in the cosy lounge which has a flat-screen TV with Netflix,, Stereo radio/CD player and a dining table. Downstairs there is a shower room.

Upstairs there is a beautiful bedroom with a king-size bed and a single bed with memory foam mattresses and fine bedding company duvets. The en suite includes a wash-hand basin and WC.

Elworth hamlet is a walker's paradise, with footpaths in all directions. The Dorset Coast Path runs along the top of the hill above the hamlet and leads down into Abbotsbury village 2 miles away. The County town of Dorchester, with a wealth of museums and archaeological sites, lies 9 miles to the northeast of the hamlet. The beaches of Weymouth Bay are 7 miles to the east and the old fishing village of West Bay with the historic town of Bridport lies 8 miles to the west.

Abbotsbury is an unspoiled village that provides craft and antique shops, historic Tithe Barn with a children's farm, an old coaching inn and of course cream teas. The walk to St. Catherine’s Chapel above the village provides stunning views across Lyme Bay and the surrounding countryside.

This lovely 17th Century cottage offers self catering accommodation in Abbotsbury for up to four people. A welcome pack vegetarian/continental breakfast is provided which can be adapted to suit individual guests needs. The cottage is perfect for a couple, walkers or a family holiday. Linen, towels and basic household items are included.

The cottage has been thoughtfully renovated and is immediately welcoming.

The village is a short walk away. Handy for a paper or that forgotten pint of milk.
