Culligran Cottages & Chalets are a collection of self catering Scottish holiday homes nestled amongst the beautiful countryside of Inverness-shire. Situated on a 5000-hectare estate outside Struy near Beauly, these holiday homes provide an ideal base for visitors looking to explore the Highlands.
There is a choice of four Norwegian chalets and one traditional cottage, all set within the peaceful surroundings of Glen Strathfarrar Nature Reserve, one of Scotland’s best kept secrets. Culligran Cottages offer the only accommodation within the glen, creating a truly unique and tranquil escape.
Guests can watch wild deer and other wildlife from their window or enjoy feeding the farm deer during a conducted Land Rover tour.
The cottage sleeps up to 7 people and includes one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a sofa bed in the spacious sitting room. There is also a large kitchen, an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room.
The chalets sleep either 5 or 7 guests and feature open plan living areas with kitchen and dining space, electric showers and either two or three bedrooms. A sofa bed in the lounge area can accommodate an additional guest. All accommodation is furnished to a high standard and includes double glazing, electric heating, cooker and fridge facilities.
Culligran Cottages & Chalets are ideally located for day trips to the west and east coasts, Glen Affric and Loch Ness.
The estate itself offers 15 miles of private roads, bike hire, deer farm tours, riverside walking trails, bird watching and fly fishing for salmon and trout on the River Farrar. A 9-hole golf course is within 5 miles, while a hotel and inn are located within 1 mile.
Rates range from £500 to £830 per week depending on the season and accommodation chosen, with a 10% discount available for stays of two weeks or more.
