Culligran Cottages & Chalets are a collection of self catering Scottish holiday homes nestled amongst the beautiful countryside of Inverness-shire. Situated on a 5000-hectare estate outside Struy near Beauly, these holiday homes provide an ideal base for visitors looking to explore the Highlands.

There is a choice of four Norwegian chalets and one traditional cottage, all set within the peaceful surroundings of Glen Strathfarrar Nature Reserve, one of Scotland’s best kept secrets. Culligran Cottages offer the only accommodation within the glen, creating a truly unique and tranquil escape.

Guests can watch wild deer and other wildlife from their window or enjoy feeding the farm deer during a conducted Land Rover tour.

The cottage sleeps up to 7 people and includes one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a sofa bed in the spacious sitting room. There is also a large kitchen, an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room.

The chalets sleep either 5 or 7 guests and feature open plan living areas with kitchen and dining space, electric showers and either two or three bedrooms. A sofa bed in the lounge area can accommodate an additional guest. All accommodation is furnished to a high standard and includes double glazing, electric heating, cooker and fridge facilities.

Culligran Cottages & Chalets are ideally located for day trips to the west and east coasts, Glen Affric and Loch Ness.

The estate itself offers 15 miles of private roads, bike hire, deer farm tours, riverside walking trails, bird watching and fly fishing for salmon and trout on the River Farrar. A 9-hole golf course is within 5 miles, while a hotel and inn are located within 1 mile.

Rates range from £500 to £830 per week depending on the season and accommodation chosen, with a 10% discount available for stays of two weeks or more.

Children and pets are welcome.

Dunmore House Farm in Beauly offers superb self catering accommodation in 3 static caravans and a holiday home. It offers the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Dunmore is a peaceful small community. It is the perfect retreat from a busy day sightseeing. The nearby village of Beauly is a vibrant thriving community full of local shops, cafes and restaurants. The Co-operative is handy for groceries as is the local butcher, bakery, fruit shop and delicatessen. Thursday evenings throughout the summer feature Highland dancing and a pipe band performing in The Square.

The holiday accommodation is on a working croft. There are sheep, horses, cats and dogs. If you holiday in the springtime you may see the newborn lambs playing in the field. The hosts accept well-behaved dogs on an individual basis but request that they are kept on a lead whilst on site and must not be left unattended in the caravan.

Moalnaceap Cottage is a family owned holiday home that dates back to the late 1800s. It has stunning views & is a lovely rural retreat for a couple or a family. The cottage is a short drive to the centre of Beauly, in the small crofting hamlet of Aigas.

The cottage includes everything you will need for an enjoyable break away. It has been comfortably furnished throughout, providing guests with a place to stay that feels like a home away from home. There are two bedrooms, a lounge with comfortable seating, dining area seating for 6, kitchen & bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside is a large garden with a BBQ & garden furniture.

For those guests who want to enjoy some time in the great outdoors, the Beauly area is an ideal base. You can explore stunning glens & nature reserves or enjoy one of the many outdoor activities available in the area. Whether you are walking, cycling, pony trekking or canoeing, you are sure to encounter wildlife! The area is a haven for a variety of animals including deer, pine martins and peregrine falcons.

For those who are interested in golf, the lovely Aigas 9 hole course is literally at the bottom of the lane, with a further 25 courses within a 40 mile radius. This includes the spectacular Castle Stuart Golf Links.
