Haye Farm Holidays offers six self catering holiday homes situated on the slopes of the Lym Valley, on the edge of the historic and picturesque town of Lyme Regis in Dorset. The cottages and luxury timber lodges enjoy spectacular views across rolling hills and valleys within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The peaceful location is free from traffic, yet still within walking distance of local shops, pubs and amenities. The sea, famous harbour, Cobb and town centre can all be reached in around 15 minutes via a scenic riverside walk.
The Stable is a comfortable ground floor cottage full of character, featuring beautiful oak beams throughout. Sleeping up to 4 guests, it offers a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, along with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with small single beds. The bathroom includes both a spa bath and shower.
The Hayloft is a first floor cottage with stunning valley views. Sleeping 4 guests, it features a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Accommodation includes one double bedroom and a triple sleeper room with a double bed below and a single above. The bathroom also includes a spa bath and shower.
The Goathouse is a single storey cottage with a separate kitchen and a spacious lounge and dining area. It offers one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with bunk beds. The bathroom includes a large corner spa bath and shower.
Oak and Ash Lodge are spacious lodges with two bedrooms consisting of one double and one twin room. Furnished to a high standard, the lodges have been awarded a 4-star rating from Visit England. Facilities include en suite bathrooms with power showers, an additional family bathroom, washer dryers, dishwashers, fridge freezers, widescreen digital TVs and DVD players. Each lodge also benefits from a private decking area with wonderful valley views.
Willow Lodge is a spacious three-bedroom property sleeping up to 6 guests. The lodge includes one double bedroom with en suite facilities and two twin bedrooms alongside a family bathroom. Set within its own grounds in a quiet and secluded location overlooking the Lym Valley, Willow Lodge has been awarded 4 Stars and a Gold Award. The open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area opens onto a large decking and lawn area. The lounge includes a 40-inch TV with Freeview and DVD player, while the master bedroom also has its own television.
Lyme Regis and the surrounding six-mile stretch of coastline are world famous for fossils and have been awarded World Heritage Coast status. The beaches attract visitors from around the world searching for ammonites and belemnites. Lyme Regis itself is a historic and unspoiled seaside resort and fishing port, surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline, with both sandy and pebble beaches to enjoy.
The famous Cobb Harbour was used as the setting for the film The French Lieutenant’s Woman starring Meryl Streep, which gained worldwide acclaim. Today, the harbour remains a busy attraction offering regular boat trips for fishing and pleasure.
Rates range from £350 to £1200 per week depending on the season and accommodation selected.
