Fern Bank is a spacious family house situated in Horton on the beautiful Gower Peninsula. The beach is just a 5–10 minute walk down the hill from the property, making it an excellent base for exploring the local area and enjoying the stunning coastline.
Accommodation
Fern Bank is ideal for family gatherings and group holidays, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests across five bedrooms:
- Two double bedrooms.
- Two twin bedrooms.
- One bunk bedroom.
There is also an upstairs family bathroom.
On the ground floor, guests will find:
- Two comfortable living rooms, both equipped with a TV and DVD player.
- A playroom featuring an additional small double sofa bed, allowing accommodation for up to two extra guests.
- A large, fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to cater for larger groups, including a dining table that seats up to 12 people.
The basement level, which provides access to the garden, includes:
- Table tennis facilities.
- Washing machine and tumble dryer.
- Freezer.
- A second bathroom.
Outside, the large enclosed rear garden offers plenty of space for children to play and is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided for guests' convenience.
Visiting the Area
Horton is a peaceful village located on the southern side of the Gower Peninsula, at the eastern end of Port Eynon Bay. It lies approximately 15 miles west of Swansea, a vibrant seaside city offering a wide range of attractions and amenities.
The area benefits from local shops, welcoming pubs, beautiful sandy beaches, excellent surfing opportunities, and breathtaking coastal scenery.
