Accommodation

Originally the Coastguard Station in Amble, our property has been beautifully renovated to offer modern accommodation, nestled in a glorious location. The house sleeps up to 6 people and is tastefully furnished throughout.

Inside we have a Scandinavian-style kitchen that has tiled underfloor heating and bi-fold doors that lead to a relaxing glass-framed terrace. Appliances include a dishwasher and a duel fuel range cooker with 6 gas burners, a hotplate and 2 electric ovens with a grill and an American fridge freezer.

Unwind in the large Scandi sitting room that comes with comfy seating and smart TV, plus amazing sea views. You can also have fun in the games room.

On the first floor, we have 4 en suite bedrooms, all of which enjoy glorious sea views. The master en suite bedroom comes with a super king-size bed and a private terrace with a table and chairs, great for a coffee in the morning sun. 2 double rooms are available, including one with a private terrace with seating and a king room.

Outside there are 3 terraces to relax on and a shaded picnic patio area which enjoys outstanding views of the pier.

Visiting Amble& Exploring Northumberland

Right on our doorstep, you can wander around the breakwater and pier to the picturesque harbour. Savour some delicious seafood on the harbour or take a dip on the scenic shore beach. Stroll around the independent shops or try kayaking or paddleboard lessons at the surf school. You can cycle or run on the separate roadside track to Alnmouth from Warkworth. Excellent attractions to visit include:

We offer cosy accommodation in this tastefully renovated former farm worker’s cottage. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people and is well-equipped with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

Inside our spacious cottage is an open plan living/kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer. Unwind the living area after a day of exploring.

3 bedrooms are available. The master en suite comes with a super king that can be made a twin. A double room comes with a king-size duvet and the single room has the option of a second bed to make as a twin room.

Outside we have outdoor seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting. A spacious indoor kennel area with a covered run attached to the storage shed is also available.

Chycoose Cottage Restronguet Point, Falmouth, Cornwall (Sleeps 1-5)

Chycoose Cottage is situated between Falmouth and Truro on the peaceful Restronguet Creek and offers self-catering holiday accommodation that is ideally located for exploring this corner of Cornwall. The holiday cottage is perfect for anyone who is looking to stay in the area and also for those wanting to discover the many beautiful areas which Cornwall has to offer.

Accommodation

The accommodation is spread over two floors, with an architect-designed mezzanine extension accessed via an open plan staircase. This comprises a spectacular living room with a glass-fronted balcony on the upper floor and the master bedroom with includes an en suite walk-in shower.

The French windows in the bedroom open directly onto the paved terrace so it is possible to lie in bed in the morning and watch and listen to all the wildlife activity outside (weather permitting!).

The main part of the cottage has a good-sized kitchen/dining area, again with doors leading directly out onto the terrace, the perfect place for outdoor meals and evening drinks. The fully fitted modern kitchen includes a large built-in fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.

There is a separate utility room with washing machine and drier and a downstairs cloakroom. The upstairs accommodation comprises two further bedrooms, one double - twin beds which can be put together - and one single, with a family bathroom in between.

Visiting Restronguet Point & Exploring Cornwall

There is a pub, the Old Quay Inn, serving excellent food within walking distance and plenty more are easily reached by car. For garden lovers, there are The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trelissick, Trebah and Glendurgan, all of which are nearby. A short trip across the King Harry Ferry will take you to St Mawes and the beautiful Roseland Peninsular, which is well worth a visit. Further attractions to visit include:

Our holiday home sleeps up to 4 people and is all on one level. There is a cosy living room with wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV, DVD player and CD player. Weir Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation in a stunning position, boasting breathtaking views over Restronguet Creek and the Carrick Roads. The property adjoins a private shingle beach, perfect for launching a small boat by prior arrangement. A deepwater mooring is also available. We are close to Falmouth and great for an idyllic break in Cornwall.

Accommodation

Our beautiful cottage is ideal for a special break in a scenic and tranquil setting. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of excellent facilities.

A porch leads to the main sitting which has an open fire, TV with Sky and DVD player. On the ground floor is a second sitting room which comes with a CD stereo and a small study. A spacious kitchen/dining room has a built-in fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, with French windows which open onto a lovely garden. A utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, as well as a separate cloakroom.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms, all of which enjoy amazing views over the water. The master bedroom has a double en suite and a double and two twins are also available. All bed linen and towels are included. A bathroom comes with a shower and WC and a separate WC is also available.

Outside there is a lovely garden to enjoy and a BBQ is available, great for al fresco dining whilst savouring the view.

Only a short walk along the Creekside footpath is the 13th Century Pandora Inn. Access involves crossing a tidal beach.
