The Manor House offers wonderful self-catering accommodation in Eardisland near Leominster. Our Grade II listed property dates from the 17th Century and comes with an acre of grounds on the banks of the River Arrow.

Furnished with luxury and relaxation in mind, the house offers a mix of traditional style and 21st-century technology such as a 60 inch flat-screen TV with Sky.

The ground floor comprises a large kitchen with an Aga and a kitchen table seating 6-10, a study, sitting room, living room with baby grand piano and an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. A separate dining room seats up to 22. 

The 11 bedrooms include 3 four-posters, 6 en suites and 2 bath/shower rooms, with the house sleeping up to 28 people.

The while family can enjoy the games barn which has a pool table, tennis table, dartboard, air hockey and a football table.

The Manor House is about 5 miles west of Leominster, 15 miles from Hereford and 10 miles from the Welsh and Shropshire borders. Visit the dovecote or the 14th century Parish Church in the village, take a walk along Offa's Dyke or see the fine houses and castles at Ludlow and Stokesay. Oxford, the Cotswolds and Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon can all be reached within 2 hours.

The Old Rectory - Relax and enjoy this carefully renovated 18th century listed Rectory. The Rectory sleeps up to 18 people. All 6 bedrooms have views of the sea and morning sun. There are 3 double rooms, 1 twin room, 1 with a double and single, 1 with 3 singles and cots are available on request. There are 3 showers, 3 toilets, and 1 bath. 

Retreat Cottage - The cottage has 3 bedrooms, a dining area, kitchen and lounge that overlook Newport Bay, a private garden and the rolling landscape beyond. The cottage sleeps 8 people & boasts a newly enlarged south-facing balcony for alfresco meals. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 double with an inglenook fireplace and 2 single rooms. A bathroom comes with a full suite, shower and washing machine.

The nearby historic little town of Newport has all the convenience of family-run shops, excellent restaurants, pubs and amenities. Newport also has all the charm of a fishing and market town carefully preserved by conservationists and overlooked by its Norman Castle and the Preseli Mountains.

The dreamy bedroom, on the first floor, has a beautiful antique four-poster bed and views across the water. The good-sized bathroom is on the second floor and has an extra bed at the dressing room end, curtained off. Ideal for a little one.

Garden Flat at Upper Court is a lovely cosy retreat for 2. This holiday home is a favourite with honeymooners and was originally the ground floor wing of the main manor. The flat is at Kemerton, a pretty village in Gloucestershire. So for those who want to visit Tewkesbury and the many other attractions in the area, we are ideally located.

The open plan studio style bedroom, with a sitting room at one end, is tastefully furnished with antiques. For modern living, there’s a comfortable 6ft double bed (can be made up into twin beds). The adjoining wet room has a shower, WC, bidet and ‘his and hers’ basins. (A disabled shower chair and loo seat/surround are available).

French windows open directly from the kitchen to the pool and garden, with a table and chairs for lazing away sunny afternoons and easy living.

Courtyard Cottage at Upper Court is a lovely family holiday home. It has much charm and character, whilst still offering modern amenities. Upper Court is based in the village of Kemerton near Tewkesbury, an ideal base from which to discover Gloucestershire.

Beautifully finished, this self-catering cottage is a light and spacious retreat from the world. The furnishings have been carefully chosen, to provide a place that feels cosy, relaxing and homely. The beamed drawing room has an antique pine fireplace with an iron stove and a mellow terracotta tile floor. Bow windows give lovely views of the Upper Court gardens and Bredon Hill.

Sleeping up to 8, the rooms are set out over 2 floors. On the first floor are two pretty bedrooms - one with zip and link beds (which can be a double or two singles) and the other with twin beds. A bathroom and shower room complete this floor. On the second floor, the former hayloft is now a gem of a bedroom, very private, with lovely old beams and plenty of character. It has two single and one double (4ft 6in) bed.

Bere Island Holiday Homes are a collection of self catering holiday cottages located on Bere Island, with wonderful scenic views of Laurence Cove harbour, marina and Bantry Bay.
