Haye Farm Holidays offers 6 self catering holiday homes that are on the slopes of the Lym Valley and on the edge of the historic and beautiful town of Lyme Regis, Dorset. The cottages and luxury timber lodges enjoy spectacular views over glorious hills and valleys in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are free from all the traffic and yet within walking distance to shops and pubs etc. The sea, famous harbour and Cobb together with the town centre are 15 minutes away via an enchanting riverside walk.

The Stable:

The Stable cottage is a comfortable self-contained cottage on the ground floor. The cottage sleeps 4 people and has lots of character, especially with its oak beams. The Stable cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen diner and lounge area. It has two bedrooms, one double and one twin (small single beds). The bathroom has a spa bath and a shower.

The Hayloft:

The Hayloft is a first floor cottage with beautiful views over the valley. The cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen diner and lounge area. The Hayloft sleeps 4 people. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and a triple sleeper which consists of a double on the bottom with a single on the top. The bathroom has a spa bath and a shower.

The Goathouse:

The Goathouse is a single storey cottage. The cottage has a separate kitchen and a spacious lounge and dining area. Two bedrooms are available: one double and one twin (bunk beds). The bathroom has a large corner spa bath and a shower.

Oak & Ash Lodge:

The Lodges are very spacious and have 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. The Lodges are furnished to a high standard and have been awarded a 4-star rating from Visit England. They have en suite bathrooms with power showers, further main bathroom with bath and overhead shower. They have washer dryers, dishwashers, fridges and freezers, digital widescreen TVs and DVD players etc. Each Lodge has its own decking area with fantastic views over the valley.

Willow Lodge:

Willow lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroomed property. It will sleep 6 people: with 1 double with en suite and 2 twin rooms with a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. It is set in its own grounds in a quiet and secluded setting overlooking the beautiful Lym valley. Willow Lodge has been awarded 4 stars and a gold award and is furnished to a high standard. It comes with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room which leads out onto a large decking/ lawn area. The lounge has a 40″ TV with Freeview and DVD player. There is also a TV in the master bedroom.

Visiting Lyme & Exploring Dorset

Lyme Regis and the six-mile stretch of coastline either side of the town are world famous for fossils. It was recently awarded World Heritage Coast status. It has proved a popular attraction for people to search for the beaches and many find ammonites and belemnites. Lyme Regis is a historic unspoiled seaside resort and fishing port, surrounded by beautiful coastlines and countryside. It boasts a stretch of sandy beach and also a pebble beach.

The famous Cobb harbour was the perfect setting for the filming of John Fowles film The French Lieutenants Woman, starring Meryl Streep, which won worldwide acclaim. Today it is a busy harbour offering regular boat trips for fishing or pleasure.

Rosan The Annexe is a comfortable and private self-contained holiday apartment located in Lyme Regis, Dorset. The accommodation sleeps two in a quiet part of beautiful and historic Lyme Regis, just a few minutes’ walk from the sea and the famous “Cobb” harbour and the magnificent surrounding countryside.

Accommodation

This charming property consists of a large open-plan living room with a double bed, and comfortable furnishings with sliding doors opening to the garden patio with garden furniture. The kitchen area, on the upper level, comprises work tops and a breakfast bar. It is fully equipped with a full cooker, fridge and microwave. A separate tiled shower room has a walk-in shower and loo.

All of the above are accessed from the small hallway with the entrance door. Facilities include:

Flat-screen Freeview television and DVD player.

Comfort, quality and convenience are the three most important factors we believe any visitor to Lyme Regis is looking for when choosing a self catering holiday cottage to rent.

We hope to have achieved this with our lovely self catering accommodation in the Heart of Lyme Regis, nestled right on the seafront. You can also relax on the golden sand beach, sampling fresh seafood in one of the local restaurants while looking out at the World Heritage coastline of the Jurassic Coast, or simply relax in your holiday home.

The Sundial

The house sleeps 9 in 5 bedrooms. 3 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom which is connected to the single bedroom but no door between them. The Sundial looks out over Lyme Bay from its prominent position in the middle of Marine Parade on the seafront at Lyme Regis.

On the ground floor, there is a light and airy lounge with large comfy sofas, wooden floors and a TV with DVD player. A lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring the local area. There is also access to a small balcony with seating, perfect for a coffee in the morning sun.

Teal House

This wonderful property is ideal for groups and sleeps up to 8 people. It can be booked together with Lavender Cottage. The ground floor comes with a cosy sitting room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The living room comes with a TV and wood burner effect stove. French doors from the dining room open onto the outdoor area. Four bedrooms are available: a king, bunk, double and a twin room. The property comes with two bathrooms.

Lavender Cottage

Our cosy cottage comes with a delightful open plan living/dining area. Both the kitchen and dining area have been recently updated. Upstairs there is a twin room and on the second floor is a double room. Both rooms share a shower room.

Brooklands

This newly refurbished cottage comes with a ground floor double room and WC, plus 3 further bedrooms on the first floor, including two en suite shower rooms and a family bathroom with a jacuzzi bath.

The Westgate

Our property is one of 3 fabulous apartments in a Grade II Listed 1830s Regency Villa. There are two bedrooms, including a master double en suite room and twin room. Both rooms share a family bathroom.

The Garden Flat

This delightful ground floor flat comes with an open plan living/dining room that has views of the garden and courtyard. Bedrooms consist of two doubles and a communal shower. The master room has a king size bed and en suite facilities.

Little Cleve, Lyme Regis, Dorset (Sleeps 1-6)

Little Cleve is a grade II listed traditional seaside cottage close to Lyme’s centre, with the great benefit of a secret sun-trap garden. A raised deck gives sea views over Church Cliff and the churchyard in which lies the grave of Lyme’s famous fossil discoverer, Mary Anning. The churchyard path leads directly to the promenade, fossil and bathing beaches and The Cobb harbour. This is an ideal holiday let for families and fossil hunters.

About Little Cleve:

The accommodation is tastefully furnished and decorated and carefully maintained by the owners. It comprises:

A small hall leading to a sitting room with some exposed stone walls and an open fireplace; 2 sofas, one of which converts into a double bed for extra guests; an armchair, Freeview TV and DVD player, and a well-stocked bookcase. Dining room with exposed stone wall and flagstone floor, table expandable to seat up to 8. Well-equipped kitchen with modern ivory painted units, gas cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine. WC with washbasin.

The first floor has a large room with antique pine furnishings including a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and chests of drawers. A very spacious modern bathroom, with bath, electric shower over, WC and washbasin.

The second floor boasts a large attic bedroom with exposed beams, 3 single beds, and a foldaway mattress if needed. There is also a TV in this room.

The private garden has a lawn, flower and shrub borders and, like the deck, is equipped with a table and chairs for dining, There is also a barbecue and beach equipment for children.

Other Facilities:

Games and jigsaw puzzles. A cot and highchair are also available. Duvets on all beds; bed linen is provided in the rental, as is gas, central heating, electricity and fibre broadband.

Lyme Regis nestles in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the point where the rugged Dorset and Devon coastlines meet - the heart of this small stretch of a natural World Heritage site.
