A Secret Garden is a truly unique experience you will never forget, offering a wonderful glamping experience in Blean, Kent. Our quirky space is the ideal hideaway from which to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Accommodation

Our stunning accommodation offers a comfy and cosy king sized spring pocket mattress, tucked up into framework of the pod which has amazing views from the glass roof and sides. A wood burner and underfloor heating are provided, ensuring you will stay cosy even on the coldest of nights.

The luxurious holiday home has a fridge freezer to make sure you only experience the coolest of drink in the sunshine! A stable door opens from the side so you can take a quick dash in luxury towelling robes to the wooden 2 person hot tub and sit gazing up at the stars whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles.

A flushing toilet and shower at the end of the hideaway is included. The outdoors space is ideal for romantic breaks for 2, where you will find an outdoor fire pit and BBQ to make the most of the lovely setting. Small tables and chairs are provided, great for relaxing with a morning coffee or a glass of wine!

You can enjoy the amazing sound of our Bose Bluetooth Speaker and linen and towels are provided, ensuring you have the most relaxing stay possible. Please note, there is no TV and no WiFi.

The Wriggly Tin, Millers Dale, Derbyshire, Peak District National Park (Sleeps 1-9)

This beautiful and quirky luxury self catering holiday home was formally the Wriggly Tin Cafe and has been lovingly rebuilt to a very high standard and we provide Peak District holiday accommodation for large groups of up to 9 people in spacious and comfortable surroundings. Much of the original appearance has been retained and with wonderful features of vaulted ceilings, hardwood and sandstone floors, under floor heating throughout, quality furnishings and a glowing log burning stove all make this a very special place.

Accommodation

Living area:

Entrance Hall/ W.C

The Entrance Hall leads from patio area over a bridge into the Wriggly Tin. There is a Cloakroom with W.C, Wash Hand Basin, Electric Towel Rail and hanging space for wet coats.

Open Plan Dining Room/Kitchen:

Vaulted ceiling Dining Room with oak table which comfortably sits 12, oak flooring, and has views over the private gardens and valley. The Kitchen with stone flagged floor, double oven electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. We supply a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and fruit juice plus other goodies. There is a small snug area housing a 2 seater settee, separate easy chair, coffee table, Flat Screen TV, DVD and Free to air Sky digital.

Lounge

Vaulted Ceiling and Stone flagged floor, 2 three seater settees, and 3 easy chairs, the property is heated by oil fired under floor heating, but there is a log burning cast iron stove in the lounge for extra comfort on winter evenings. A Flat Screen colour TV with Sky plus is provided, CD stereo, wireless internet access is available on request.

Main Bathroom

Attractively kitted out with full white suite, comprising of Bath with separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and W.C. There is an electric towel rail with sandstone flagged floor and under floor heating. Three further bathrooms spread around the house ensure that the main bathroom never gets too busy.

Loft Bedroom

Full stairs lead from the living area to a twin bedded loft room, comprising of 2 oak beds and dressing table, two roof windows also with electronic air transfer facility. There is space below the stairs for either hanging clothes or for use as a drying area for walking boots and coats.

DOWNSTAIRS

Bedroom 1: This spacious room has 3 separate divan beds, a pine double wardrobe and a pine chest of drawers, bedside tables and bedside lights with carpeted flooring.

Bedroom 2:Sleeps 2 in a double pine bed, it has a double glazed safety glass full length opening arched window which leads to a Juliet balcony overlooking the fabulous private gardens. There is a double pine wardrobe, with 2 drawers below, 2 bedside cabinets and lamps, dressing table with mirror above.

Bedroom 3: Sleeps 2 in a double pine bed, double pine wardrobe with 2 drawers below, chest of drawers with mirror above and 2 beside table with lamps. 2 windows provide wonderful views of the garden and across the dale.

All the bedrooms have crisp fresh bedlinen, and have underfloor heating. There is a cot available for use and can be put in any of the bedrooms.

There are 2 bathrooms on this floor, each with stone flag flooring, under floor heating Shower unit, wash basin, W.C and towel rails. Also there is a separate Shower room with towel rail. All beautifully fitted with white bathroom suites.

This floor holds a private laundry room with a separate washing machine and dryer, and space to dry wet walking gear.

Outside

There is parking at the side of the property for 2/3 cars, we also have the peak park Monsal Trail car park opposite with permits for 2 car parking spaces. There is a limstone chipped patio area with railed viewing point to take in the breathtaking views. A BBQ is supplied and ample seating for guests. Meandering Steps lead down the terraced, well stocked gardens onto a lower patio area with further seating, and then on to a circular lawn. The garden is private and for your use.

Location

We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton, in the picturesque village of Millers Dale,where there are numerous walks or cycle rides directly from the doorstep, and a friendly local pub serving real ales and a village church. Nearby Tideswell has a small selection of local village shops and pubs.

Ocean View Gower offers outstanding self-catering accommodation, nestled on farmland at the heart of the spectacular Gower Peninsula. We are ideal for an idyllic getaway in a gorgeous setting and are a great venue for weddings.

Stables & Barns:

Our two converted barns have been superbly designed to provide wonderful accommodation. Both cottages come with a range of excellent features. The living area overlooks the sea and comes with a wood-burning stove and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with an electric oven, grill, hob and microwave. Two beautifully furnished bedrooms come with a double and twin room.

Paddock Haven:

Our fabulous retreat for 2 enjoys stunning views over the North Gower hills, perfect for a romantic getaway. This luxury retreat comes with a lavish super king bed for a restful night’s sleep, a fully-equipped kitchenette with a Belfast sink, wall-mounted TV, shower and WC. Outside there is a patio area with seating, offering a great spot for a glass of wine whilst savouring the views of the old mill pond.

Paddock Retreat:

This charming property is nestled in the paddock and enjoys outstanding views over the North Gower Hills.

Suite Huts:

These quirky huts offer extra accommodation for wedding guests. These charming custom-built log cabins come with an en suite shower & W.C facilities. All the huts include a wall-mounted TV with a DVD player, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, shower and W.C, towels and heating. In total, there are 3 double bed suite huts and 2 twin bed suite huts, all nestled in their own picturesque paddock.

Visiting Llanrhidian & Exploring Gwynedd:

Just a few minutes away is the village of Llanrhidian, boasting a Garage, mini-market, post office and an al a carte bistro, there is also a village pub that serves snacks.

In the opposite direction, there is the village of Llanmadoc, with a cooperative shop and tea rooms and al le carte pub/restaurant. There are numerous award-winning beaches on the peninsular, all just a short distance away. The Gower Peninsula is famed worldwide for its clean and award-winning beaches, but there are also a whole host of other attractions hemmed within its rugged coastline to discover and enjoy.
