Our unique treehouse is nestled along a woodland path lined with lights, offering a truly unforgettable experience. This wonderful treehouse house pays homage to the hobbit world whilst offering a range of luxuries.

Inside there is a comfy living space, plus a mini cook range with an under-counter fridge freezer and a microwave. Underfloor heating and a toasty log burner are ideal for those chilly days.

Gulliver is much more than your average camper and has masses of charm and character.

Our stunning accommodation offers a comfy and cosy king sized spring pocket mattress, tucked up into framework of the pod which has amazing views from the glass roof and sides. A wood burner and underfloor heating are provided, ensuring you will stay cosy even on the coldest of nights.

The luxurious holiday home has a fridge freezer to make sure you only experience the coolest of drink in the sunshine! A stable door opens from the side so you can take a quick dash in luxury towelling robes to the wooden 2 person hot tub and sit gazing up at the stars whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles.

A flushing toilet and shower at the end of the hideaway is included. The outdoors space is ideal for romantic breaks for 2, where you will find an outdoor fire pit and BBQ to make the most of the lovely setting. Small tables and chairs are provided, great for relaxing with a morning coffee or a glass of wine!

You can enjoy the amazing sound of our Bose Bluetooth Speaker and linen and towels are provided, ensuring you have the most relaxing stay possible. Please note, there is no TV and no WiFi.

Kath's Cottage offers self-catering accommodation located in Broadoak near Canterbury in Kent. Our holiday cottage has been beautifully furnished and equipped and is the perfect base from which to explore this fascinating corner of the country.

Beds in both bedrooms are superbly comfortable and built-in wardrobes in each room provide ample space for hanging clothes.

The oak table in the dining area is the main dining facility but in the summer the table in the conservatory provides an attractive alternative.

The modern fitted kitchen has everything you could need for a stress-free holiday, including an integrated refrigerator, freezer, eye level double oven and gas hob plus microwave oven and dishwasher. If you get an irresistible urge to wash and iron while you are on holiday you will be delighted to find the washer/dryer plus the iron and ironing board.

In the light and airy modern bathroom, the bath is equipped with both bath and shower mixer taps. All towels are provided as also is a hairdryer.

Outside, Kath's cottage has its own garage and off-road car parking space and attractive front and rear gardens.

Wander through 2000 years of history in Canterbury or visit wonderful old seaside towns like Whitstable, Broadstairs and Ramsgate; pop across to Paris for lunch by Eurostar or up to London for dinner and a show. Or just take a walk from the cottage, through apple orchards and into The Blean, one of the largest areas of ancient broadleaved woodland in Southern England and home to a wide variety of wildlife, including Nightjars, Nightingales, Woodpeckers and Woodcocks.

On the way home, call in at the Golden Lion Pub just 100 yards from Kath's Cottage for a delicious meal washed down with a pint of Shepherd Neame Kentish Ale.

This gorgeous Grade II Listed former oast house looks over the beautiful old village green. All the downstairs rooms boast French windows leading out to the private decking overlooking the river. Outside there is garden furniture, perfect for a morning coffee whilst enjoying views of the river.

The Old Tannery:

This splendid Grade II Listed former 16th Century tannery is based on the lovely village green. The property also benefits from downstairs rooms which have French windows which open onto the sunny garden. A covered area in the garden has a garden table, chairs and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.

Ellens Cottage:

This cosy cottage sleeps 6 people and includes a large private garden, patio and elegant French windows. The brick paved area outside is the ideal sun trap and includes a garden table and chairs. A great spot for a glass of wine whilst admiring the views across the garden and fields.

East Kent is often passed by but it is full of history, interesting things to do and places to visit. There are sandy beaches at Sandwich and Broadstairs, castles at Dover and Walmer and Canterbury with its cathedral speaks for itself.
