This property is an ideal “get together” venue for family and friends, offering spacious accommodation along with the added luxury of a sauna and hot-tub spa.

Accommodation

A large entrance porch and utility area provides ample storage space for outdoor clothing, bicycles and other equipment. This area also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The well-equipped kitchen and dining area features a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge, freezer and a comprehensive range of kitchen equipment. The large dining table comfortably seats eight guests, and a high chair is available.

The impressive open-plan living area has vaulted ceilings and wooden floors, creating a bright and spacious atmosphere. Facilities include a Norwegian log burner, Smart TV, DVD player, radio, CD player and an Xbox games console. Patio doors open onto an extensive private garden and a decked verandah with views across open countryside, where guests can enjoy the beautiful “Bingfield sunset”.

Bedrooms

The property has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight guests:

  • Two standard twin bedrooms

  • A third bedroom with electric beds that can be linked together to form a king-size bed

  • A fourth bedroom with twin electric beds and a TV

Bathrooms

There is a fully accessible shower room with level entry shower, shower chair, toilet and washbasin. A separate family bathroom includes a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.

Outdoor Facilities

Guests can relax in the garden sauna and hot-tub spa. The property also benefits from controllable underfloor heating throughout, ensuring comfort all year round.

The large enclosed garden and field provide a safe space for children to play. Outside features include a decked verandah at the front of the house, a lawn, a large paved patio area, gas BBQ and garden furniture. The surrounding grounds have been planted with trees and shrubs to encourage local wildlife.

Upstairs, the master bedroom enjoys spectacular countryside views through a picture window and offers a super king bed that can be arranged as twins, along with an en-suite bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and separate shower. The twin bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room and sunny south-facing views. On the ground floor, a generous bedroom provides a further super king bed, again convertible to twins, with its own en-suite shower room. Throughout the cottage, all beds are finished with luxury mattress toppers, Egyptian cotton sheets, soft pillows and large fluffy towels to ensure a truly restful stay.

The Bothy
The Bothy is a beautifully designed, single-level retreat with a full-height ceiling and exposed beams, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
