A beautiful sleeping area comes with a king-size bed for a restful night’s sleep and a lavish slipper bath is perfect for soaking yourself in. A private loo is also available.

Lodges

We have 7 charming lodges to choose from, all perfect for a magical countryside break. All the bespoke lodges are finished to a high stand and come with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Outside each lodge there is a decking area with seating for al fresco dining. An onsite laundry includes washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and freezer.

They each sleep 2 in a king room and include an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower and freestanding bath. Luxurious Cole and Lewis hand and body wash, hand lotion, and shampoo are also provided.

A lovely open plan living/kitchen area will suit all your needs. The lounge area includes comfy seating, a smart TV and Wi-Fi. The well-equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

Percy, The Shepherds Hut

We also offer quirky accommodation in our shepherds’ hut. This small but cosy hut comes with underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room and even an electric stove. There is also a king room, smart TV, DVD player and outside area with seating and a fire pit.

Visiting Windermere & Exploring Cumbria

High Borrans Farm is well connected to the network of footpaths and bridlepaths which criss-cross the fells and valleys in the direction of Kentmere and Troutbeck. Our luxury cabin is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life, based in a glorious country setting. The lodge sleeps 6 people and is finished to a high standard to suit all your needs.

Inside this beautifully furnished cabin is a lovely open plan kitchen and living area with a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. The living area includes comfy seating and smart TV to watch your favourite show. The patio doors offer spectacular countryside views. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: oven/hob, integrated dishwasher and fridge freezer and a washing machine/tumble dryer.

Two bedrooms are available. A ground-floor master room is furnished in Harris Tweed and boasts a luxury memory foam mattress with soft bed linen. The room enjoys glorious views toward Cairn o' Mount. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with an open plan seating area including a double sofa bed. A bathroom has a high-pressure shower with complimentary Shetland soaps.

Accommodation

Our wonderful barn conversion is brimming with character and offers many unique features. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and offers everything you need for a memorable staycation.

The spacious living room is a lovely place to unwind with a glass of wine after a day in the countryside. Facilities include a Sky TV, a DVD player, radio and a feature fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances.

We have two beautiful bedrooms: a king and twin room. Both rooms share a lovely circular bathroom with a shower attachment on the bath taps. All bed linen and towels are included.

Outside there is a pretty garden, perfect for a morning coffee whilst savouring your surroundings. We now provide a BBQ.

We have 4 wonderful apartments to choose from, all perfect for families or groups. The apartments can be combined for larger groups, and we also have a choice of four grand function rooms and large private gardens for parties, events, meetings or retreats.

The Cook’s Suite:

This wonderful suite is housed in the old Victorian kitchens, pantry and coal store. The apartment is stylishly furnished and features a wonderful open kitchen/dining/lounge area to suit all your needs. The kitchen comes with a range cooker in the Victorian fireplace and the living area has a TV with Roku streaming.

The Buck Suite:

This gorgeous apartment is in an area that used to be the home of the Matron at Grenville College. The stylish apartment is lovely and bright, offering a large master room with a king-size sleigh bed and a second room with a single and double bed. There are en suite bathrooms and a separate WC.
