Barlings Barn offers spacious group accommodation surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Cambrian Mountains. With fifteen bedrooms and thirteen shower or bathrooms, the property is ideal for large groups looking to spend time together in a spectacular Welsh setting.

Accommodation

Barlings Barn has been designed with large gatherings in mind, providing plenty of space for groups to relax, dine and socialise together.

The barn and cottages are all situated within ten metres of one another, making it easy for everyone to enjoy a group holiday while still having access to comfortable individual accommodation.

The Old Station, Allerston, Pickering, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-6)


The Old Station are three unique self catering railway carriages in the village of Allerston. Allerston is near the historic market town of Pickering in North Yorkshire. Our cosy carriages are located on the edge of The North York Moors where there are superb opportunities for walking and cycling.

Accommodation
The three railway carriages were built in 1968 and now offer exceptionally well equipped accommodation.

All three of the holiday carriages have:

Central heating.
Oven.
Hob.
Microwave.
Fridge.
TV.
DVD player.
Radio.
Bath with shower attachment.
WC.
Wash basin.

The carriages stand in train formation but are not inter-connected.

Carriage one and two both offer three bedrooms. Carriage one has one double bedroom, one twin room with two singles and one twin room with a single and a head height bunk. Carriage two has one double bedroom, two twin rooms, each with a single and a head height bunk. Carriage three has two double bedrooms each with an additional head height bunk.

They are in two acres of grounds providing plenty of space for children to play. Each of the carriages has its own picnic table, BBQ and a selection of toys, games and bikes.

Visiting Allerston & Exploring North Yorkshire
There are many things to do in the local area. Ryedale provides excellent cycling country for all ages and abilities. From ''on the flat'' in the Vale of Pickering to mountain biking in Dalby Forest, which has some of the best mountain biking trails in the country. In the local area guests can also enjoy fishing, walking and golf.

The attractive market town of Pickering, home of the North York Moors Railway, is located close by offering a range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The North York Moors can be easily reached and offer numerous things to do including forest and woodland walks as well as breathtaking views. There are many towns, villages and stately homes located close by that guests can explore.

Hall Farm Cottage offers award-winning self catering accommodation near Byers Green, based in a tranquil setting. Based near Spennymoor, we are in the ideal location for exploring Durham.

Accommodation
Our wonderful barn conversion boasts a private hot tub and boasts amazing views over the open countryside. The barn is tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard.

The exterior of this 500-year barn has been beautifully restored over the years with the original stone repointed with lime mortar, and where necessary replaced by old stone from the site. On the ground floor is a lovely open plan kitchen and breakfast bar with an electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A cosy sitting room comes with a toasty wood burner and a 32’’ Freeview TV.

On the first floor is a comfy king size bed and a TV. The bathroom comes with a large shower.

Visiting Byers Green & Exploring Durham
Old Hall Cottages provides its own restaurant in the village called Thomas Wright House. It serves food every day. Drinks can be enjoyed 5 minutes away at Byers Green Club.

The area is ideal for walking and fishing. Country walks are available straight from the front door. Fishing can be enjoyed on the River Wear. There is a golf course 10 minutes away.

Durham city is easily accessible and has plenty to enjoy. Old Hall Cottages are close to a range of attractions including:

Hamsterley Forest.
Barnard Castle.
Beamish, the Living Museum of the North.
Raby Castle.
The Bowes Museum.

Wyre Forest Cottage Self Catering Accommodation, Buttonoak, Kidderminster, Shropshire (Sleeps 1-4)


Wyre Forest Cottage Self-Catering Accommodation consists of two properties situated in the ancient forest of Wyre on the Shropshire/Worcestershire border. There are loads to do, either challenging or restful to suit each person's tastes.

Manor Holding Cottage - Sleeps 4
The kitchen/scullery opens off the dining room and is comprehensively equipped with double fan-assisted ovens, a 4 burner gas hob, multi-speed fan extractor hood with high-intensity lighting, capacious fridge and freezer, washing machine, double sink and drainers, microwave, airing racks, external washing lines, toaster and hot beverage station.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor (1 super king-size double and 1 twin). Opening off the entrance hall downstairs there is a cosy snug or study with Wi-Fi, a CD player, a larger sitting/dining room with DVD/TV and super-efficient wood-burning stove.

It has a separate, enclosed and sheltered front garden with two lawns, embracing an intimate, suntrap patio, as well as shady seating arbours for hotter days.

Manor Holding Byre - Sleeps 2
Manor Holding Byre is an elegantly proportioned small barn, built of handmade brick of an almost glowing.

The Byre has one twin bedroom accessed via the external loft stairs and a full-height living room downstairs, with a kitchenette and wet room shower/toilet off. There is also a sofa bed downstairs. It has been restored using appropriate materials including matched handmade brick, natural stone, green oak and old clay tiles, in keeping with its original character. New casement windows complement the style of the original adjacent cottage windows.

Visiting Buttonoak & Exploring Shropshire
Buttonoak is a great base from which to explore Shropshire. Track wildlife in the 5 acres (2 hectares) of wildflower meadows and ancient orchards; or in the adjacent ancient woodland and National Nature Reserve.

Get close up and personal with big game wildlife at the West Midlands Safari Park and let your hair down at the funfair afterwards. Catch a steam train to the past along the verdant Severn 'Gorge'; on the Severn Valley Railway from Bewdley, Arley or Kidderminster.

Unwind with a day's fishing at a choice of local fishing ponds and rivers, or a round of golf at one of half a dozen high-quality local links.

Miner's Cottage is a beautiful holiday cottage that is a short walk from the centre of Coniston village in Cumbria. The cottage has breathtaking views of Coniston Water, Grizedale Forest and Yewdale, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing family holiday or a romantic break to the Lake District.

About Miner's Cottage:
On the ground floor of this wonderful holiday cottage is a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove and breathtaking views from the living room window. This leads on to a spacious kitchen/dining room which is well-equipped and includes all the utensils you may need during your stay.

A utility room with a washer & dryer and a downstairs WC with a washbasin can also be found on the ground floor.

Both bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the 2nd room has twin beds. The family bathroom is spacious and has a shower over the bath.

Gas, heating, electricity, bedding and one set of towels per person are included in the booking. A high chair and travel cot are available on request. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the entire cottage.

Visiting Coniston & Exploring Cumbria:
The lake District is a stunning destination for those who are looking for peace, relaxation and tranquillity. The holiday cottage is nestled at the foot of the Coniston Old Man and is only a short walk from some lovely tea rooms, cafes and traditional Lakeland pubs. There are many activities available nearby; Fishing with a rod licence is allowed from many of the public shores, numerous mountain trails are available for cyclists and the Grizedale Forest.
