There are plenty of things to do for all ages, from shopping and sampling the local cafes, restaurants and pubs, to enjoying tennis, bowls and putting in Fitz Park close by. The park also has swings, slides etc for younger children and plenty of green space for football, cricket and such like.
The Lake District offers beautiful landscaping and when you come to stay in one of our self-catering cottages in the Lake District, you will get the chance to enjoy one of many mesmerising walks in the local area. So don’t forget to bring your hiking shoes, warm clothes and most importantly your camera to capture every breathtaking moment. The different walks listed offer a great variety and vary in length, time and difficulty, but at the end of the day, it is initially your choice how far and how long you would like to walk during your holiday!
